Three nalists will be selected, and the winners announced during the PACE Learning & Development Gala dinner on 12 March 2013 at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham. These prestigious awards are open to all PACE members. Winners receive superb trophies. Details of the awards and their criteria are summarised below: A: Partnership with Industry Award
This award is looking for examples of anything that promotes a good experience with another organisation. For example a partnership with an employer, where the lecturer goes into industry, or the employer comes into the college. 1. Description of partnership 2. Range of learners reached by partnership to other FE partners 3. Benets described 4. Transferability potential

B: Best Chef Lecturer


1. Please tell us about the groups of students you have taught and mentored over the last two years and how well they have achieved 2. Please describe in what ways you have helped and inspired your students 3. Describe any innovative teaching practice that you have introduced within your curriculum with the key features and benets 4. Please tell us about any enrichment activities you have introduced within your eld e.g. competitions. You could include link with industry, current practice and recent CPD activity to support your application

C: Best Hospitality Lecturer

Lifetime Achievement Award


Awarded to the individual who has contributed signicantly to the enhancement of catering education in UK. The PACE committee will select ve individuals and then once these are in we will put them on the website and ask you, their peers to vote.
