The Agricultural Fairs Program is once again preparing for another great fairs season in 2011. This is the first packet of information of several that you will be receiving in the upcoming months. If you are not the appropriate person to receive this information, please contact us and we will be happy to provide this information to the contact person of your Fair. These forms are also available online at www.mass.gov/agr/fairs. 1. Fair Reporting for the Fair Season - This material is to be completed after your Fair concludes and returned to the Department in a timely manner. 2. 2011 Fair Brochure Information for Listing - Please return to the Department no later than February 15th 2011, so that your Fair is listed in the 2011 Brochure. 3. Direct Contact Sheet This form shall ask for the name of your Fairs President, Secretary and Superintendents. In addition, please provide information for anyone with decision making capacity, their contact information for during the Fair and for off-season. Also other contact information, such as Livestock Superintendent, Vegetable Superintendent, etc., should be included. 4. Mass Grown and Fresher Promotional Materials Order Form - These materials are available to you at no cost to your Fair. 5. Rosette Request Form - Each Fair is eligible to request a limited amount of state rosettes for an outstanding and exceptional exhibitor of the Fair season at no cost to the Fair. It is important for you to submit your Fair packet in a timely manner in the event that funding becomes available for premiums. Future packets will include information about the 2011 Fairs Animal Health Rules and 2011 Horse Pulling Regulations. ROSETTE ORDER FORM


The Department of Agricultural Resources rosettes are available for all fairs upon application to the Division of Agricultural Development. These are to be awarded only to outstanding agricultural exhibits (those that the Department can pay the premium if funds are available) and are to be awarded at the discretion of the judges. Please allow a 3 week delivery time, prior to the start of your fair.
