Pre-requisites: Comprehension of the methods of formal and informal communication, the objectives and channels of business communication and principles of business correspondence. Objectives: Enable students to study further and practically apply the techniques for effective communication (e.g. the Principles of Correspondence, Techniques to improve Speaking) which were taught in the First Year (Semester-2). Equip and train students on the Interpersonal and soft skills necessary to be successful in Interviews and Group Discussions, activities crucial for the placement/recruitment process. Teach the art of Report-Writing along with methods of collecting information, analyzing and compiling data and subsequently presenting the facts in an appropriate manner before an audience.
