2.Youwillneedallyour sourcesofincome.Gatherdocumentssuchas paycheckstubs,SSIchecks,childsupportreceived, dividendchecks,etc.

3.Ifyourincomevariesfromweektoweekand monthtomonth,averageyourincomebytotaling yourmonthlyincomeforthepastthreemonths,. thendividebythree.Thisisagoodnumberto startwith.

4.Weuseasimpleonepagebudgetsheetthat emphasizesgoals.Formostofus,keepingour budgetingprocesssimpleisarecipeforsuccess.

5.Startbyfillingintheincomecolumnsandenter thetotal.UseyourNetIncome.(Thisisyour actualtakehomepayaftertaxesandother deductionshavebeentakenoutofyourpaycheck.)
