What Is Direct Shipping With
Cross Docking?
• Applies whenever backorders exist
• WIP jobs completed to a License Plate
Number (LPN)
• WMS rules engine directs operator to drop
the LPN directly to a staging lane instead of
to a warehouse location
• Product is shipped without additional steps
