AMENDMENTS: Article IV, Section 4-4 of the 2002-2008 CBA shall be inserted in the Boards proposal reworded as follows: Any criticism of an Employee initiated by a Supervisor or Administrator or Board Member shall, where possible, be made in confidence and not in the presence of students, parents, other employees or in public meetings. [The remainder of the proposal regarding Article IV shall be renumbered as appropriate]. Article IV, Section 4-7.3 The Boards proposal shall be reworded as follows: A subject grade given a student shall not be changed without an Administrative review with the teacher involved. Applicable Board policy shall govern any further review. Article X, Section 10-7.3 The Boards proposal shall be reworded as follows: It is understood that all committee recommendations are subject to the approval of the District. A verbal or written reason shall be given for any decision altering the committee recommendation. Article X, Section 10-14.1 of the 2002-2008 CBA shall be inserted in the Boards proposal reworded as follows: The District will provide safe and healthful working conditions for its Employees. Where deficiencies are brought to the attention of the Administration, the conditions will be corrected within a reasonable length of time. If deficiencies continue they may be brought to the attention of the Board whose decision will be final. [The remainder of the proposal regarding Article X shall be renumbered as appropriate]. Article X, Section 10-43 of the 2002-2008 CBA shall be inserted in the Boards proposal reworded as follows: Notices of all workshops, meetings, etc., shall be made available to all appropriate Employees on a grade level or department basis. In making appointments to such positions, the District shall recognize the professional expertise of a variety of employees. No past practice shall apply to this provision. Article XIV Section 14-2 The Boards proposal shall be reworded as follows: The provisions of the 2002-2008 CBA have been legally deemed to be in continued effect since June 30, 2008 as part of the status quo. Revisions, deletions or amendments shall take effect

and be applied as of the date of ratification by both parties of the new Agreement, and shall continue in effect through June 30, 2015.
