The Film School DIGITAL ACADEMY 1. All students are required to maintain strict discipline/silence within the institute, including the class room, library, theatre, shooting floors, corridor etc at all times. 2. Students must be regular and punctual in attending the classes for their respective courses. Permission for appearing for the written examination or making of final project or issuance of passing certificates may be withheld on account of inadequate attendance. Minimum 80% attendance is compulsory. 3. All the creative and other work done by the students during the course of their studies at the institute, shall always remain the property of the institute and can be exploited in any manner it deems fit. 4. All the materials shot by the students by way of practical exercises, scratch shoots, final film and rushes thereof, shall be the property of Digital Academy. Students will be given only one copy of the final edited version of their final film as their demo reel which will carry the water mark of Digital Academy The Film School all accross the film. 5. Students shall not damage or mishandle any books, CDs, DVDs, equipments furniture and fixtures and properties belonging to the institute/ company/studio. 6. Any student causing damage to the property of the institute will be held responsible and shall be fined for the same apart from recovering the cost of damages. 7. Once the admission is taken, no refund of fees would be given to the student irrespective of the reasons for such cancellation. If the student does not wish to continue the course, he/she must inform the institute in writing at least one week before the next installment becomes due. 8. If the student does not join a batch due to any reason what so ever, within 3 months after the admission, then he / she will be treated as a drop out and this admission will be cancelled and no refund will be given under any circumstances. 9. All taxes, as and when become applicable, shall be payable extra by the student, over and above the fees amount. 10. In case a cheque given by a student is dishonored by the bank, the student has to pay the full outstanding charge for a bounced cheque is Rs 300. 11. In case of payments by installments, the first installment must be paid before starting the course. For all subsequent installments post dated cheques have to be given before starting of the batch. All payments should be realized on due dates without any reminder, otherwise the student will have to pay a penal fine for every day of delay. The student may not be allowed to attend classes if any installment remains unpaid from the due date.

12. Smoking within the premises of the institute is strictly prohibited. 13. This admission is subject to separate rules and regulations framed by the Academy regarding various issues including examinations, practicals, students projects, placements, alumni etc. Examination for all the courses shall be conducted by Digital Academy. 14. The institute reserves the right to amend / alter the course curriculum and to reschedule classes/ batches, postpone the batches and to change the faculty any time due to unforeseen circumstances. 15. The Passing certificate will be issued to the student only upon:( i) The student completing minimum 80% attendance in the course. (ii) Successful completion of the project/s and passing the written examination/s. (iii) The full fees for the course and the fines, if any, are paid. (iv) All books, CDs DVDs and other materials are returned or the amount of compensation is paid. (v) Any other requirement as may be decided by the Academy. (vi) If full fees are received but any one or more of the above requirement is not fulfilled, then the student may be given a Certificate of Participation. 16. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Academy shall be final & binding on the student and shall be accepted by the student without any objection. Further, the student shall not use any forum whatsoever to protest against the same. 17. This admission and all the contractual obligations of both the parties are subject to Mumbai, India jurisdiction only. 18.
