BUSINESS COMMUNICATION MY JOURNEY AT IILM?

Remember that imagination is the faculty of the soul and that when it suggests new pathways to us we are being invited to explore the territory of the soul in ways that will certainly change and re-enchant us. - Caitlin Matthews Life to me is a journey - you never know what may be your next destination and I landed up to IILM. A life where I was, wasnt reality. While growing up in life I had always wanted to be like my dad, having a lifestyle with great success and greater learning in short a businessman. I took my path in life to do so when I ended up graduating in BBA and the next thought was what next. Study or work and as advised by my dad I was here at one of the growing and aspiring B-schools called IILM. I have always been a person with a fun loving nature but the first day at IILM, the orientation conducted for all the students changed my view-point towards life. A very interactive and intellectual session was taken by Mr. Rahul Mishra. I knew it was time to prove the world and do the learning that was required. We were given a comprehensive brief about how things are in a B-School and I realised that it was time to do what I was actually was here for. Put in all my best which included hard work, learning, growing my knowledge and to create a personality as a whole which would make my future bright. I learnt to interact more and pick up all opportunities that come to my way. Mentoring and having mentors was something new to me but it created a mindset within me that having any problems related to studies or personal I had a faculty that I could walk up too for help. The faculty was very cooperative and understood all positives and negatives so that I could convert my weaknesses in strength. I was in a world where this was not what I knew would come my way and I called it the platform of opportunities, if I would perform well I would be secure and would have greater job opportunities and this is what life was about.

My journey here made me realise the importance of how important it is to bond ,mix up and create an identity. I had mixed feelings about life and this journey gave me an insight to what future has in stored for me. IILM as an institute has a faculty with great ability and trust and an atmosphere of learning and providing everything that a student needed. A resourceful library to an extra-ordinary cafeteria to a proper student support cell.I made friends interacted with my seniors took part in extra-cullicular activities. As I always was people-oriented I also became the HR Club secretary and wanted to excel my marketing skills too. We were given a bridge course so that we could have positive roots so that we after 2years end up becoming trees with a variety of knowledge. Our presentation skills were enhanced and a lot of work load that I wasnt used too was there and how to go by the stress and perform well was taught. I am still learning about this journey. So I reached the path from where my actual journey started and even if I fall I would stand up to see the end. Life is a journey that is upto us that how we travel our good deeds would surely make our journey worthwhile and at the end we would not be having any kind of guilt that we have done that wrong and we have not done what we actually wanted to. So, make your life that special and ethical which will serve humanity and you will be remembered by people for decades. As a tiger marks its territory I shall prove to do the same one day!!!!
