Conflict, whether external or internal, large or small, anywhere in the world bring economic loss and sufferings to the citizens. Regardless whether it is an intra-national or international matter, both have their own consequences onto the citizens. As such, all of us know that the United Nations (UN) is helping to address these problems and how the organization is under great pressure to do more. But, just how much the UN can help to avoid them from the costs of conflict? For the time being, there are already few countries that have been struggling with their own internal crisis within themselves. Some prefer seeking help from the outside to solve their conflict while others still hold on to their problems. Intrastate conflict and development can happen in many ways. The economic loss refers to financial loss and damage that may vary from an individual to an organization. If the economic loss in a country is caused by internal factor, the effect would be lasting of social impact on the citizens. Countries are affected by conflict face a two-way relationship between conflict and poverty. Pervasive poverty makes societies more vulnerable to violent conflict, while conflict itself creates more poverty. Most obviously, poverty is a powerful breeding ground for displeasure and hope, and when combined with perceptions of government corruption and discrimination along regional, tribal, ethnic or religious lines, it can lead to violent rebel among the citizen. In order to handle complex task such as solving an intra-national conflict, the member states of the united nation seeks help from them. The United Nation has definitely taken some drastic action when complex situation occur. They use their rightful authority upon the member state in order to control the situation. Their prior target is to put the effort altogether to prevent or end the conflict with certain precaution aimed to reduce the possibility of conflict occurring among the citizens. UN also uses their power to authorize their member states and make sure all of them are in control. At time, they enrol the peacekeeper and enforce penalties on countries if the conflict rises to a worrying state. By handling the conflict this way, they can ensure that the member states and countries remain at peace. In addition to maintaining peace, the UN also aims to protect human rights and provide humanitarian assistance when needed. Education about human rights by the UN is also given to the citizen so that it must become part of general public education. The purpose is to educate people regarding the awareness of solving a conflict. Technical together with the financial assistance is provided to increase knowledge about human rights. The expansion of international human rights law has often not been matched by practice. Yet, there is growing consensus that the protection of human rights is important for the resolution of conflict and to the rebuilding process afterward. To achieve these goals, the international organization has identified a number of mechanisms both to bring an end to human rights abuses and to establish an environment in which they will be respected in the
