Our support services desk was formed to offer the recruitment of soft services roles to our building services engineering and FM clients. These typically include business and support jobs. We supply both permanent and temporary recruitment services from our London, Southampton, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow branch locations.

PRS Alpha is based from our branch in Paisley, Scotland (outskirts of Glasgow) The business has an enviable client base in the trades & labour sector in Scotland and also has established relationships in both Europe & the Middle East supplying labour to the pharmaceutical, petrochemical and semi conductor sectors where theres demand for UK labour. Overseas they provide Welders (MIG, TIG & fusion), fitters, pipefitters, project managers, site supervisors, etc. The trades & labour division supplies bricklayers, joiners, plasters, dry liners, electricians, plumbers, etc PRS Alpha currently has a turnover in the region of 4m but we have high hopes that this will increase to 6m within the not too distant future.

CONTRACT/TEMPORARY RECRUITMENT
We are experts in providing interim or contract based individuals to employers. We adopt the same approach to these placements we do for permanent, and can provide employers with both short and long term candidates. To enable us to source contractors on short notice, which is often a necessity, we actively monitor our contractors availability, doing this means we are aware of what skill sets we have to hand.

VETTING
Candidate responds to advert/website/referral and contacts PRS local office. PRS conduct initial phone interview and confirm experience, background, qualifications & availability If deemed suitable, the candidate will be invited to register by appointment, and send an application

form

If the candidate is compliant and suitable they then registered as live to the PRS system and ready to work

Candidate attends a 30 minute face-to-face interview and technical check. All qualifications, ID, CV and completed application form etc are scanned and save to our database. Two references are taken on site.

All candidates presented will be interviewed, reference checked, visa/ID checked and technically assessed where required.
Once on a contract, the candidate is checked in to site by PRS, and then monitored until the end of each contract. References for each contract are taken.

All candidate documents will be digitally scanned and held on each applicants document record, which can be accessed by operational managers if required. All candidates will be fully briefed prior to attendance at any interview as to the job details concerned. An up to date CV will be prepared and presented to the interviewer prior to the interview. (where applicable)
