CLASS 1: 35cm mostly x poles with a max of 3 straights. No fillers or spreads. Fences will be raised by 5cm in the timed jump off. Open to horses and ponies with riders any age. Class will be split Juniors (16yrs & under) & seniors (over 16yrs). Entry fee 5 , WDPC members 4 Prizes at a ratio of 1 prize per 5 entries per section. 1st 8, 2nd 6, 3rd 4. Rosette to all unplaced DCs.

SHOW WEAR IS NOT REQUIRED BUT SUITABLE BOOTS & APPROVED RIDING HAT MUST BE WORN. BODY PROTECTORS MAY BE WORN AT RIDERS DISCRETION.

All competitors will be allowed help to complete the course if they are eliminated.

LEAD REIN RIDERS WELCOME

A CHARGE OF 2 PER COMPETITOR IS LEVIED TO PROVIDE FIRST AID COVER

Conditions of Entry

1. All riders must wear approved protective hard hats, fixed at more than two points. Chinstraps to be fastened at all times when mounted. 2. All competitors must be correctly dressed. 3. Objections may be raised by lodging 10 with the Secretary, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 4. Excess cruelty to horse or pony will result in disqualification. 5. Horses and Ponies will be considered to be in the charge of the competitors and the committee will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury owing to accident or any other cause. 6. Age to count on the day 7. Competitors in lead rein classes may not compete in other ridden classes off the lead rein on the day. 8. Jumping classes will not be delayed for competitors in other classes. (competitors may be able to leave showing classes to jump) 9. We reserve the right to change, cancel or amend any class without prior notice. LEGAL LIABILITY Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents & accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all persons & horse/ponies. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers & the officials & stewards. ANY INJURIES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE SECRETARY ALL COMPETITORS ENTER ENTIRELY AT THEIR OWN RISK

ALL COMPETITORS MUST HOLD THEIR OWN PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
