ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY: Providing Project and Product Engineering support to Vernon design center. Summarizing & analyzing customer specification, PO specification to list down the project activities involved for Vernon-NPO project team. Coordinating project activities and drawing specifications with the Vernon-NPO site engineers to ensure drawings are as per the specifications of clients. Functioning as project associate to NPO project engineers in project execution of safety related centrifugal pumps. Supervising, mentoring & deploying the team members for project/design operations to meet high quality work & on time delivery of assignment to site engineers. Supervising & mentoring team members for preparation of detailed casting, forging, fabrication, machining, customer submittal & RFQ drawings for Vernon design centre. Understanding the manufacturing process involved for the pump components based on the component safety class per ASME & accordingly structuring the BOM in Agile for manufacturing. Active project discussion with the site project engineers (NPO) for better understanding of project requirements. 3-D modeling of single and multistage pump components for pattern & analysis purpose. Carried out design calculation as per API 8&9 standard for pulley & tackle system of decoking system used in coke cutting operation in oil & refineries for Vernon CPO team. MAJOR PROJECTS HANDLED: Two stage axial split DVMX pump; This is a non-safety reactor water feed pump for Dresden Nuclear Power Plant. Goal of the project is to replace the existing pump & carry project engineering for brand new pump for modified design & also rework engineering on the existing pump to suit modified design parameters to demonstrate the new design parameters. Single stage axial split, double suction impeller SE pump: This is an ASME class-2 safety pump for Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant to upgrade the 4 nos. of existing component cooling water pump. Goal is to ensure technical details of customers spec, jot down the project action item accordingly performing project engineering. 13 stage CAM pumps: These are non-safety ANSI/H1.3,ANSI/H1.4 barrel type CVS make up 13 stage pumps for Westinghouse, Senmen & Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant. Involved in execution of two orders. Design Calculation of Pulley Block System: This is a Design calculation performed per API-8&9 for Wire rope pulley block & tackle system used in the decoking system. The objective of this project to eliminate the existing supplier & to have own Flowserve design & manufacturing.

ACTIVITIES Visited Vernon NPO project team at Flowserve Vernon, CA-USA for project engineering training & Vernon-PEC project alignment. Certified & completed 5 days training program on Pump Basics & Fundamentals at Flowserve PEC Bangalore. Certified & completed a day CIP Yellow Belt training program at Flowserve PEC Bangalore.

Capturing the design dimensions of Gear pumps, power packs/Aggregate as per customer requirement. Designing of circuit diagrams for compact power pack / Aggregate. Designing, development & reverse engineering of component parts of the gear pumps, actuator system. Preparation of BOM, manufacturing, Quotation & customer submittal drawings of Gear Pumps, hydraulic aggregates/power pack & actuator systems.

Performed design calculation of the compact hydraulic system & actuator systems such as Caliper Body (Cylinder), Piston, spring, system speed etc. Design & development of the manifolds as per the hydraulic circuit drawing & other parameters. Selection of the pump, motor & various types of cartridge valves for aggregates/power pack. Involvement in Assembly & Testing of gear pumps, power pack / Aggregate & service brake (Actuator system). Conversion of 2D drawings into 3D drawings (Solid works). Preparation of Technical Data sheet (Catalogue) for marketing. MAJOR PROJECTS HANDLED Gear Pump: Carried out design, development & reverse engineering of 9 different types of Gear pump of different flow rates equivalent to the competitor models for domestic & international market. Compact Hydraulic Power Pack/Aggregate for service brake: This is compact hydraulic system designed to develop a braking force at service brake in wind mill application for Enercon Ltd. Carried out design, development, project engineering of hydraulic system & reverse engineering of service brake to suit existing design available at customer. QUALIFICATION: Completed Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from HIT, Nidasoshi in the year 2005 with an aggregate of 68%. Completed Diploma Course in Mechanical Engineering from SJPN Polytechnic, Nidasoshi in the year 2001 with an aggregate of 61%.
