Paul Broun for Senate PO Box 1512 Athens, GA 30603

Dear

I'm running for the U.S. Senate in Georgia to keep it in Republican hands ... ... And I'm writing you today to ask for your prayers and support in this nationally important campaign. You see, President Obama and Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid control the Senate with an iron fist. they have repeatedly used it to ram their agenda down the throats of the American people, running roughshod over the Constitution and your freedoms. As a Member of the House of Representatives for the last few years, I have fought tooth-and-nail against President Obama's agenda at every turn. I was the first Member of Congress to call him a socialist who embraces Marxist-Leninist policies like government control of health care and redistribution of wealth. I've not only voted against raising the debt limit, I've actually introduced a bill to LOWER THE DEBT LIMIT! I've made it my mission in Congress to fight out of control government spending at every opportunity. I have introduced more legislation to cut wasteful government spending than any other member of Congress from Georgia and will continue to do so as a U.S. Senator! Truth be told, except for foreign policy, Ron Paul's voting record and mine are identical and I wear it as a badge of honor when I'm accused of being a strict who doesn't bend or break when it's tempting to do so.

When I was fresh out of school I chose to don the uniform of our country and served in the United States Marine Corps. Being a Marine made me the man I am today. In Congress last session I was honored to enjoy a close friendship with TEA Party favorite Lt. Colonel Allen West from Florida. On the Senate side, I'm a staunch ally of now retired Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina -- and of course, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. My voting record is, and has always been, among the most conservative Members of Congress and I am often singled out as being the most conservative on various scorecards. When I first ran for Congress, I promised to cast my vote based on a simple four way test: 1) 2) 3) 4) Is it Constitutional? Do we need it? Can we afford it? Is it the right thing to do?

As you can see by this test, I tend to vote NO most of the time!! President Obama and his cohorts in the Senate are ruining our nation. They are bankrupting our country and couldn't care less about it. \
I

They have lied to the American people time and time again and I, for one, refuse to sit back and continue to take it. I've been told that you share many if not all of my conservative constitutional beliefs and so I'm reaching out to you today for help. Good men like Lt. Colonel Allen West have already endorsed and are sending money to my campaign for this U.S. Senate seat and I hope you will join us.

I'm a physician by trade thanks to the Navy and the Medical College of Georgia, was a jet engine mechanic in the Marines, and a Christian man who still serves in the Reserves because I will never stop believing in serving God and Country! I'm not running for office to simply occupy a chair, to go-along-to-get-along, or to stroke my ego. I believe to save this nation for children and grandchildren, we must balance the budget and slash wasteful spending. I will never sacrifice my principles for the sake of "political expedience" to make President Obama happy ... ... Nor will I ever bow down and kiss the ring of leaders like liberal Democrat Harry Reid to win favor in the Senate. I am my own man. Always have been. Always will be!

I am a constitutional conservative FIRST -- and yes I proudly belong to the limited-government wing of the Republican Party. Just about every week, my friends and closest allies congratulate me and genuinely thank me for telling the truth of just how messed up this country has become under President Obama. I repeatedly appear in the press for speaking out, standing up, and calling attention to his anti-free market policies. In fact, just a few months ago, I went to the House floor to deliver a speech on the U.S. Constitution and the original intent of our Founding Fathers. I did that because I believe as a Member of Congress, the oath we took when we were sworn in meant something. The words "support and defend" the United States Constitution means the same thing to me today as it did as a United States I promise you this much, as a Member of the U.S. Senate I will continue to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic, as I have done all my life.

So, my friend, I must ask you a favor that matters to America's future ... ... Will you please stand with me today and join me in my U.S. Senate race? I'm not a wealthy man by any stretch of the imagination. My most recent practice as a physician was making house calls in Athens, Georgia, to people who couldn't make it into the office. I did it because I care for people. for our nation. Just like I care

This U.S. Senate race will cost upwards of $10 Million to win and I have no time to lose getting started. That's why I announced my candidacy on February and why I'm urgently requesting your personal support today. a gift of $2,500, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, or even $35 will be a real blessing to my campaign. If you can send $2,500, $1,000 or even $500, I sure would be grateful for your generosity. But if $250, $100, $50, or $35 is the biggest gift you can help with, please know how deeply grateful I'd be for any such amount! I'm not a fan of the fundraising that it takes to win elective office, but I know it must be done to win. So, if you believe in fighting President Obama's agenda, repealing Obamacare, ending deficit spending, paying off the national debt, and restoring our great Republic, I hope you'll join me today. Thank you for your prayers and support, Semper Fidelis,

Paul Broun, M.D. U.S. Congressman (R-GA) P.S. President Obama's mouthpieces here in Georgia are gearing up already. I am committed to winning this seat and continuing my ardent, vocal, and forceful advocacy for your freedoms and rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Please, lend me a hand by returning a generous gift of $2,500, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or $35 today. I cannot thank you enough for joining me today.
