Steel Plantech supplies a variety of plants, equipment and engineering services for ironmaking. These include equipment related to blast furnaces (pulverized coal injection system, BF gas dry cleaners, BF gas wet cleaners), equipment related to coke ovens (coke dry quenching, advanced gunning machines to extend coke-oven life), sinter plant and equipment, waste heat recovery system for sinter plant and Lime Kiln.

A conventional ladle furnace (LF) has three individual masts with electrode arms for constant impedance control. However, ladle furnace operations involving the flat bath and submerged arc do not require individual electrode regulators. Based on this idea, Steel Plantech developed the Single-Mast Furnace (SMF), a three-electrode simultaneous-control ladle furnace.

Rolling Mill
ECOARCTM is a state-of-the-art electric arc furnace that meets cost reduction and environmental protection needs at the same time, while realizing high productivity.
Steel Plantechs fully automated scrap charging facilities achieve high productivity and save labor.
Steel Plantech has rich experience in supplying conventional ladle furnaces (LFs). We also developed a three-electrode simultaneous-control ladle furnace and named it the Single-Mast Furnace (SMF). With a simple mechanical configuration, the SMF enables short arc operation with a high power factor.
EBROSTM is a billet welding system with deburring machine to improve productivity by minimizing mis-rolling with less top biting and by reducing crop disposal, while rolling without billet gaps.

Mini Mill

Based on our superb technological capabilities and innovation, Steel Plantech supplies rolling mills for flat products and heavy plate shearing lines. Steel Plantech has unique technologies SPEOSTM, Zoom-MillTM to produce high-quality products while reducing the customers manufacturing costs.
For a broad range of steel strips, from the widest to narrowest, Steel Plantech has newly-developed roll crown technology that can properly correct a strip crown and reduce the edge drop at the same time. This technology is most effective when applied to a 4-Hi mill.
The reverse cold mill has enjoyed an outstanding reputation as a cold rolling mill that offers excellent cost-performance and satisfies high dimensional accuracy and flatness requirements. As SPEOSTM crown rolling is available as a standard feature, a reverse cold mill can be used as a Zoom-MillTM.

A wide range of proposals and supplies are available to assist customers with transportation, cooling, shearing, inspection and piling of heavy plates. Our heavy plate shearing line is capable of cutting plates up to 50mm thick and 5500mm wide.

Easy Maintenance
The upper frame can be rotated 180 degrees and the lower frame can be pulled out to the operator side. This unique work roll support mechanism enables quick work roll changes.
This special wet leveling system produces stainless steel with a high-grade surfaced quality. The system was developed based on extensive experience in the leveling of stainless steel strip.
