From: Laura Chastain, Recruitment Manager for DNC Parks and Resorts at Yosemite
Subject: Service Promise Commitment

DNC Parks & Resorts, Inc. is always interested in hearing from talented, energetic individuals who are interested in
joining our team.

Our mission is to provide each park visitor with the highest value for the products and services we offer, show
unfailing hospitality, conduct business in a professional and ethical manner and preserve and protect the park's
fragile resources.

If you are committed to maintaining the highest levels of service and exceeding our guests’ expectations, we
encourage you to apply for a position with us. Please read the remainder of this memo: these are the standards you
need to understand and commit to in order to be successful with our organization.

Our Service Philosophy

At Delaware North, we know it’s all about the experience.
We know the care and service we offer our guests leads to special experiences for them. To ensure an experience
of a lifetime, we will foresee our customers’ expectations and deliver outstanding products and services.
We will also focus on surprising our guests with special touches and finding ways to help make their experiences
even more memorable.
Even though we serve hundreds of millions of guests each year, we will focus on individuals and what we can do to
make them feel like they are at home.
We will build relationships one guest at a time, working to create experiences of a lifetime.

GUESTPATHSM: OUR SERVICE PROMISE

Creating special experiences one guest at a time.

Universal Standards
Our Universal standards are the foundation on which we build and deliver our DNC Service Philosophy. These
standards guide our actions during every guest and associate interaction and help us achieve our Guiding
Principles.

The experience begins with you. These standards apply across all Delaware North Companies. These standards
describe our service expectations.
Our Universal Standards

Professional Appearance and Grooming: We start by looking the best we can. We present a professional
appearance because a poor appearance immediately detracts from all aspects of our service.
• We are professionally attired (for uniformed positions, only company-issued garments are worn on the job and
uniforms are complete.)
• Our clothing (uniforms and business attire) is clean, well maintained, pressed and fits properly.
• Our shoes are clean, polished and in good repair.
• We wear the correct name badge (meeting Delaware North Companies specifications) to enable a personal
connect with our guests.
• Our jewelry (if worn) is conservative style and number.
• We wear no more than two earrings per ear.
• We display no visible body piercing (other than earrings).
• Our hair is neatly groomed and conservatively styled. Hair color/highlights are natural in color.
• Associate beards are neat and trimmed no more than one-inch long. Cheeks and neck area must be shaved
each day. No “mutton chops” allowed. Associates are clean-shaven, if a beard is not worn. Beards cannot be
grown on the job. Mustaches are neat and trimmed. The mustache cannot extend below the lower lip.
• We report to work bathed or showered and use an antiperspirant/deodorant. Our fingernails are well groomed.
Our perfume and cologne, if worn, is not overbearing.
Attentive Posture: Welcoming positive energy is essential when creating experiences of a lifetime.
Gracious and Friendly Service: Gracious and friendly service depends on courteous and professional
language.
Guest Name: We “Notice” whenever possible by determining and using our guests’ names. This helps us
recognize and respond to our guests as individuals.
Greeting Guests: Extending a gracious greeting is one of the many ways that we surprise our guests with
special touches.
Thanking the Guest: Thanking a guest is the final way that we communicate our appreciation and pleasure
for the opportunity to provide service.
Teamwork: We understand that experiences are built around the efforts of many people. Some of us are
behind the scenes and others are in the guest contact areas. Our efforts all combine to create the
experiences of a lifetime. It is a team effort.
Pride in Facility Appearance and Maintenance: The cleanliness and condition of our facilities truly affects
the guest’s overall perception of the quality of our services, products and associates. A facility’s poor
appearance immediately detracts from all aspects of our service.
Product Knowledge & Associate Skills: Knowledgeable well-trained associates are confident and prepared
to understand and foresee our guests’ needs. Whether in a lodging, stadium, airport or other facility,
associates are able to provide quick and accurate responses when guests seek information about the
facility or the local area.
Telephone Courtesy Standards: Whether in a lodging, stadium, airport or other facility, we offer gracious
and friendly service over the telephone.

AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER, EEO/AA/M/D/V/VV

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for inquiring about employment opportunities with DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite. We provide exceptional guest service to
over 4 million visitors per year, and we are looking for exceptional people to be a part of our team, helping to make Yosemite National Park
an extraordinary place to visit.

DNC PARKS & RESORTS AT YOSEMITE (DNC P&R at Yosemite) has contracted with the National Park Service to provide the hospitality
and guest services in Yosemite National Park. We operate hotels, restaurants, retail shops, guest recreation activities, and support facilities.
Our peak hiring periods are March through May and August through September, annually.

Applicants should indicate the earliest date they are available to start work and the latest possible date they can remain at work. Specific
dates are necessary in order to properly evaluate an individual’s availability. A correct example would be April 15 to September 30. An
associate who voluntarily terminates his or her employment prior to the ending availability date may not be considered for rehire.

The following positions may be available: however, they are all covered under collective bargaining agreements and, as such, must be first
offered to present or certain rehired associates. Those positions marked by an asterisk (*) are entry-level positions, which are usually
available for the first season applicant.

Entry level positions require the ability to perform the following: lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds, stand and walk for extended
periods of time often in inclement weather, work varied shifts, and communicate with guests in a professional manner.

Once assigned a position, an associate will not be able to request a transfer for 180 days.

Notice

The following are excerpts from the DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite’s Drug and Alcohol Policy as pertaining to
condition of employment drug testing:

It is the policy of DNC Parks and Resorts at Yosemite (the Company) to comply with the standards and guidelines
in accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the federal Department of Transportation and other
applicable laws including those relating to “safety sensitive” positions that shall be designated by the Company
using federal standards in order to identify which positions are subject to discretionary random drug testing.
Additionally, any employee is required to report to their employer any conviction of a drug related offense within
five (5) calendar days of such conviction, and shall not operate a vehicle or Company equipment until executive
management has reviewed the matter and rendered a decision.

Employees are the most valuable resource to DNC Parks and Resorts at Yosemite. For this reason, the Company
has a critical interest in assuring the health, safety, and well being of its employees and the maintenance of a safe
and efficient work environment. Impairment from the use of alcohol or drugs may also affect the safety of co-
workers, customers or members of the public, job performance, the safe and efficient operation of the Company
and our obligations to meet standards and expectations of the National Park Service. To that end, the Company
has adopted a comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Policy and Procedure of which every employee and contractor
will be required to comply with all provisions.

Applicability: This policy applies to all employees and contract employees hired by the Company when they are
on Company property or when performing any Company-related business. It also applies to off-site lunch periods
and breaks when an employee is scheduled to return to work and when on-call. Visitors, vendors, and contracted
employees are governed by this policy while on Company premises, and they will not be permitted to conduct
business if found to be in violation of this policy.

Drug testing shall occur as a pre-employment condition for every employment candidate, and for those employees
who have had a break in service of more than 90 calendar days. This does not include approved leaves of
absences so long as the individual returns to work at the conclusion of said leave. Employees who terminate
employment at the conclusion of an approved leave shall be subject to drug testing prior to reemployment if the
combined duration of time is more than 90 calendar days.

A complete copy of the DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite Drug and Alcohol Policy is available by contacting the
Human Resources Department at 209-372-1234.
Consent and Release

I, ____________________________ (print name), candidate for employment with DNC Parks & Resorts at
Yosemite, Inc. “The Company”, do hereby acknowledge that I have been given a copy of The Company’s Drug
and Alcohol Policy excerpts pertaining to applicant substance abuse and testing to review and that I understand its
terms. I understand a full copy is available to me by contacting Human Resources.

I hereby consent to be tested for the presence of illegal drugs and controlled substances pursuant to the Policy and
to the disclosure of the results of the test to designated Company personnel for evaluation and use by and internal
communication to personnel who, by reason of their job responsibilities or position of supervision to me, have a
reason to know such results.

I understand that the collection facility will ask for photo identification. I also understand that the facility, in
accordance with its own procedures and requirements, may ask me to complete a medical history survey. I
understand that this survey is not part of the Company’s hiring process and that the survey will not be provided to
the Company. I also understand that upon employment, I will be required to comply with all provisions of the
Company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Finally, I understand that the test results will help the Company determine whether I can meet the position
requirement of being drug free.

I hereby release and discharge the Company, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns, and each
of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees, former employees, agents, contractors and
attorneys from any claim or liability relating to or arising out of the performance of the drug test, the analysis,
and/or the employment determination, including, without limitation, the testing procedures, the analysis, any
