On 9/3/04 at approximately 2109 hours, Ofc. Corey, Ofc. M. Valenti, Sgt. Schmitt and I responded to 5181 NW
80th Terrace regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon our arrival, we made contact with Bruce and Elizabeth
Augello. Elizabeth stated that during an argument with her husband, he grabbed her and started to push her out of
the computer room/ study. Elizabeth stated that during the argument. Bruce bit her on her left forearm and
backhanded her across the face. I observed a red mark on the victims's face, several scratches on her right forearm,
and teeth marks on her left forearm. The bite marks did not break the skin and Elizabeth refused any medical
attention several times. Photographs of the injuries were taken and submined to CCPD records.
Bruce stated that during an argument with his \vife, she grabbed him in the crotch and he tried to push her out of
his computer room/ study. He admitted to biting her whi le trying to break contact with her.l did not observe any
signs of injury on Bruce.
Bruce Augello was placed under arrest (CK04-0674) for simple battery and transported to CCPD jai l for
processing and later turned over to BSO jail. Initial ly, El izabeth refused to cooperate further and would not provide
a taped statement. However after Bruce was removed from the scene, she gave a taped state-ment regarding the
incident to Ofc. M. Valenti (see supplement). No further action.

office. I could see two bite marks, one on each of her forearms. Mrs. Augello kept massaging her face complaining o(
pain from the slap. Mrs. Augel lo decl ined medical treatment.
I then met Mr. Augello who said he bit her because she grabbed his crotch area and he was defending himself. When I
asked him how he could bit her forearm when s he was grabbing his crotch. he said he bent O\er. I instructed Ofc.
Valenti to ge1 a sworn. taped statement from Mrs. Augello. Ofc. Jahrsdoerfer arrested Mr. Augello and transponed to
CCPD jail. NFA

On 09/0312004, I responded to S 181 NWSO Terr. as a backup officer in reference ton domestic disturbance. Upon my
arrival, I met with Bruce Augello, who stated that he got into a verbal argument wilh his wife. Elizabeth Auge11. which
had turned physical. Elizabeth said that Bruce bit her arms and b1d..hnnded her across the face with his hand. I
obser.ed bite marks on both of Elizabeth's arms and a red mark on the left side of her face. Elizabeth also stated that
Bruce had pushed her several times and put both his hands around her neck. Elizabeth was able to get away from Bruce
and she contacted CCPD.
Initially Elizabeth did not want to give a tape statement and was very upset that husband was arrested. After Elizabeth
calmed down she agreed to ghe a sworn tape statement. and it \\AS placed in the dropsafe under property number
2004131 1. A case number and domestic violence pamphlet wa& gi..,en.
