Once You Understand How Were Put Together, Then Youll Understand What Sets Us Apart
The only difference I ever found between the Democratic leadership and the Republican leadership is that one of them is skinning you from the ankle up and the other, from the neck down. Leave it to Louisianas legendary Kingfish, Gov. Huey P. Long (1893-1935), to provide an artful metaphor
for the pick your poison false dichotomy presented by todays Two-Party political oligarchy. Whether you are recoiling against the public policy initiatives (militant feminism, homopolitical activism, radical environmentalism, progressive tax policy) of the Social Elite that control the Democratic Party, or you are bunkering down against the globalist outsourcing assault being executed by the Fiscal Elite driving the Republican Party bus, its probably a pretty safe bet that you are one of the tens of millions Americans who finds himself in the throes of a downward spiral of economic uncertainty and a coarsening culture regardless of where you cast your political loyalties. Unfortunately, while you and millions like you continue to view your political nemesis in Left vs. Right terms, the Economic and Social Elite that dwell atop the Republican and Democratic Parties continue to make tremendous inroads in their oppression of the American Middle and Lower Class who share neither their global ideology of corporate expansionism and Economic Darwinism, nor their detached indifference to issues of traditional values and ethics. The effect is a heightened sense of profound economic and social anxiety that spans the entire spectrum of Americas professional and non-professional class, impacting the constituency ranks of Republican and Democrat alike, while the spoils of political empowerment and excess continue to be richly shared by Americas Fiscal and Social Elite, Republican and Democrat alike. Stated differently, the Left-vs.-Right battle that traditionally characterizes the Democrat vs. Republican power struggle is a charade that is designed to confuse the American People so they are unable to detect the true oppression coming from the Fiscal and Social Elite that reside atop the Republican and Democrat Parties. Perhaps youve come to recognize the futility of your political loyalty to the Republican or Democratic Party, recognizing that your political support is more about standing against the opposition party than it is in standing with the party for which you cast your vote. But as you struggle with the recurring betrayals by the leadership ranks of your party of choice, your brief flirtation with the prospects of a third-party candidate is roundly criticized by the Conventional Wisdom as a wasted vote that only serves to empower the dreaded Democrat/Republican opposition. Considering the philosophical design of Americas most widely-known political third parties, the Conventional Wisdom would be correct. For it is the faulty philosophical designs of the Libertarian Party, the Reform Party, and the Green Party that have limited their growth and development. It is their faulty philosophical designs that have dampened their ability to appeal to a broad spectrum of Americas politically disenfranchised who populate both the Republican and Democratic parties. It is their faulty philosophical designs that have doomed them to a future of inescapable futility and political obscurity. So what makes the Constitution Party any different, you say?

LIBERTARIAN PARTY What They Stand For: The Libertarian Party openly espouses both the fiscal policies of the Wall Street Fiscal Elite, as well as the social policies of the Social Liberal Elite, in effect marrying the philosophical principles that already control the Republican and Democratic parties, respectively. Libertarians subscribe to unrestrained free-trade (NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA, etc.), promote an open-border policy with Mexico, and generally believe that government has no legitimate role in the governance of, or intervention into, the daily lives of Americans except for issues of national defense. Given their strong freedom from government philosophy, Libertarians promote the decriminalization of drug use and prostitution, support unrestrained abortion access, and advance the full recognition of homosexual marriages. Why They Will Continue to Fail: The growth of the Libertarian Party is limited on two (2) fronts. First, the free trade fiscal ideology central to Libertarian philosophy is repulsive to Rank-and-File Labor, those residing in the lower-economic strata (Undereducated, American of Color, Elderly), and the growing ranks of offshored white collar professionals whose economic viabilities are endangered in a world of globalism which places a premium on performance against thirdworld wage earners. Similarly, Libertarian support for drug legalization and abortion and gay rights repulses practically all Social Conservatives. Secondly, and because the Wall Street Fiscal Elite and Social Elite already possess political prominence atop the Republican and Democratic parties on the backs of the masses, they simply have no motivation to throw their wholesale support into a Libertarian Party which can only give them what they have already attained.

GREEN PARTY What They Stand For: The Green Party correctly recognizes that the Democratic Party leadership has largely sold-out its principles to Wall Street Elite interests who strongly promote full-scale corporate globalism, often at the expense of environmental and worker rights. Its founder and perennial spokesperson, Ralph Nader, is a lifelong consumer rights advocate who formed the Green Party in an attempt to keep the Democratic Party true to its traditional environmentalist and labor union roots. The Green Party rejects the free trade ideology of NAFTA, GATT and CAFTA due to their exploitative effects to foreign and domestic wage earners and the wanton disregard for environmental impact as corporations engage in the frenzied pursuit of maximum profits with little restraint. Why They Will Continue to Fail: The Green Partys appeal is largely limited by its intended design. Its strong position against the Democratic Partys permissiveness for corporate gluttony appeals to environmentalists and Rank-and-File Blue Collar Labor who traditionally support the Democratic Party. Because the Green Party also supports abortion and homosexual rights and a relaxed national drug policy, the Social Elite who also tend to favor environmentalism find the Green Party particularly appealing. Not surprisingly and for the same reasons, Social Conservatives reject the Green Partys message. Main Street Fiscal Conservatives reject its progressive tax policy. Americans of Color and the Elderly, both largely conservative in their social politics, are unimpressed. Ultimately and by its design, the Green Party only has the potential to draw its support from Democratic Party ranks. Consequently, the lack of any crossover appeal to traditional Republican supporters does nothing to wrestle control away from the GOPs corporate beneficiaries, which is paramount to the Green Partys political and philosophical mission.

CONSTITUTION PARTY What We Stand For: The Constitution Party subscribes to the founding principles of the U.S. Constitution that limit the federal government to its constitutionally enumerated powers and which guarantee all Americans certain endowed inalienable rights. As such, we strongly oppose the federal governments betrayal of Rank-and-File Labor, Main Street Professionals, and Americans of Color by its intervention and advocacy of NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA and other free-trade offshoring agreements that undermine the economic stability of the American family and promote the wholesale corporate sellout of Americas economic, sovereignty and national security interests. The Constitution Party stands firmly for the sanctity of innocent human life at both ends of the lifecycle and rebukes homopolitical efforts to undermine the covenantal institution of marriage. Why We Will Succeed: The Constitution Partys unique strength is three-fold: (1) it has a broad, principled platform that appeals to constituents in the betrayed ranks in both the Republican and Democratic parties; (2) its principles can be advanced without compromise and without presenting an internal conflict between the motivating interests of our diverse constituent supporters; and (3) its potential for political empowerment is readily attainable given the mathematical realities of a three party race and the huge resonance our message has with the American People.
