Quik Satisfaction.
✐ What is the Q UIK H OUSE ?
The QUIK HOUSE is a prefabricated kit house designed by Adam
Kalkin from recycled shipping containers. It has three bedrooms and
two and one-half baths in its 2,000 square foot plan. The basic kit costs
$76,000 plus shipping. The shell assembles by the end of the week,
you will have a fully enclosed building.
From start to finish, it should take no longer than three months to
complete your house.

✐ Is it really Q UIK ?
The QUIK HOUSE can be delivered anywhere in the U.S. eight weeks
from the time of your order. During that time, we recommend that
you obtain your building permits and build the foundation.
From the time of your order to the day you move in should be less five
months.

✐ What is included?
The basic kit comes with five modified containers and all the glass
necessary to enclose your house. There are many options available
such as a stainless steel kitchen with appliances and fireplace,
a mahogany door package, custom designed carpets etc…

✐ Can you help me build the house?
We can help you construct and finish your house for an additional fee
either by having one of our construction team assist your contractor or,
in certain locations, by contracting the project ourselves.
See Appendix A for details.

✐ What colors does

the Q UIK H OUSE come in?
Orange or natural "Rust Bloom".

✐ What are my final costs?

Depending on which package you buy,
the QUIK HOUSE will cost between
$150,000 and $175,000 finished plus taxes.
This translates into a per square
foot cost of between $73 and $90,
about half the cost of a
conventional house.

You may arrange for one of our construction foremen to work with you or
your contractor on site during any phase of the process. The cost will be
$500/day plus expenses. In certain locations, we will be able to offer the
QUIK HOUSE as a turn-key, finished home. We will price that option on a
case by case basis.
