Bingham is keenly aware of human capital challenges and likely solutions. Bingham has been a board member since 2004. Bingham has valuable experience in community and civic leadership. Bingham appreciates the difference between policy-setting (the boards responsibility) and micromanaging staff.

Concerns Bingham seems to underappreciate sensitivity around teacher morale.

Bingham believes Dallas communities are an untapped resource, but community involvement was not an area of focus in Binghams DKF interview and questionnaire responses. DKF challenges Bingham to use her unique tenure and knowledge to promote more aggressive change for Dallas ISD students.

Strengths As a Dallas ISD graduate, Hernandez could bring a valuable perspective to the board. Hernandez seems to be genuinely concerned with improving public schools for all Dallas kids.

Concerns Hernandez lacks a fundamental understanding of the districts challenges and potential solutions. Hernandez lacks experience with leadership decision-making (e.g., resource management). Hernandez believes that low-income students cannot consistently perform at high levels until social problems are remedied.
