1. What is the Christmas promotion handset and 4G device sale?

The Christmas Promotion handset and 4G device sale offers GSM and 4G customers the opportunity to purchase any of the selected handsets or 4G devices throughout the promotional period at a discounted price. With each GSM handset purchase the customer will receive $1500 bonus credit to be added to their account.

2. What is the promotion period?

The promotion will begin on Friday November 16th at 12:00:00AM and ends Thursday December 27th at 11:59:59PM

3. Who can participate in promotion?

All new and existing Digicel Postpaid and Prepaid customers (4G and GSM) who purchase any of the select handsets or 4G devices from an authorized Digicel dealer during the promotional period are eligible to receive the promotional offering.

4. How does the promotion work?

With the purchase of select handsets, customers will receive $1500 free credit. With the purchase of any 4G compatible device on sale (handset or dongle), customers will receive one month free data service (1GB data bundle). Customers who had a data plan within 3 months of the start of the promotion will not be eligible for the free data service offer.

 Customers must register their accounts to be eligible for the free credit. On purchasing the handset, customers are to call 127 immediately to register for the free credit. $300 credit will be added to the customers account within one hour of the customers registration. The remaining $1,200 credit will be staggered and the customer will get $200 credit added to their account over the next six (6) months. For Prepaid customers the credit will be added to their credit balance and can only be used to make on-net calls, i.e. local Digicel to Digicel calls. Prepaid customers can check the balance of their free credit by sending *120*11#. Bonus credit expires at the end of each month if not completely used. For Postpaid customers the credit will be an adjustment to their bills.

New Postpaid customer

With the activation of a new postpaid account, customers will receive a further 50% discount on select phones seen in Table 2. Customers will also get one month free 4G data plan (1GB data bundle) with all 4G compatible device. New activations must be on a select 1000 plan or higher. Customers will be required to remain on contract for at least 24 months.

Customers will receive a total of $1500 in call credit. $300 credit will be added immediately to the customers account once they place a SIM card in the newly purchased phone and dials 127. Once the call is completed the bonus credit of $300 will be automatically added to the account. $200 credit will be added to the account for the next six months totaling the $1500 gift. Bonus credit will be added every 30 days until the 6 months is completed. Prepaid customers can check their balance by dialing *120*11# send. Bonus will be added to the available credit for each postpaid account.

 Bonus credit added to prepaid accounts can only be used to call local Digicel numbers. Prepaid customers can check their balance by dialing *120*11# send Each allotment of credit expires every 30 days. There is no rollover of credit to each month that the $200 is added.

8. What is needed to become a Digi-Select customer?

 Signing up for new Digicel postpaid service offered in the promotion and getting a new number. Converting from prepaid to postpaid during the promotional period.

11. Can Loyalty Points be used with the discounted prices upon purchasing a handset?

Yes Loyalty Points can be used to purchase the discounted handsets.

12. Are existing postpaid customers eligible for the Christmas promotion?

Yes. All new and existing postpaid customers can benefit from the discounted prices on select handsets.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE DIGICEL CHRISTMAS SHARE A SMILE PHONE PROMOTION 2012 1. 2. The Digicel Christmas Share a Smile Phone Promotion is available to all new and existing Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers (Customers). The promotion begins on Friday November 16th 2012 and will continue until Thursday December 27th 2012, or while stocks last or until such other date that Digicel will determine, the Promotion Period. During the Promotion Period, customers shall receive a discount on select handsets. During the Promotion Period customers who purchase any 4G compatible device on sale shall receive one (1) months free 1GB data plan service. To be eligible for the free data service, customers must be new 4G customers or customers who are not currently on a Data Plan and have not had an active Data Plan within the last three (3) months. During the Promotion Period, all customers that purchase any handset at a Digicel dealer store will be entitled to $1500 free credit. The handsets below will be discounted as follow:

All prices set out herein are subject to GCT. During the Promotion Period each customer can purchase a maximum of two (2) handsets or 4G compatible devices. The discounted handset prices are on offer to new postpaid Customer activations who sign a minimum 24 months service contract. Customers can purchase handsets during the Promotion Period at Digicel dealer stores, subject to stock availability.

Existing prepaid customers can benefit from the promotion if they convert to the postpaid service. Customers who sign up will be bound by the Digicel Select terms and conditions and shall be required to pay the applicable service plan deposit associated with the Digicel Select Plan chosen by the customer. If the customer terminates the contract before the end of the minimum contract period the customer will be liable to pay Digicel the pro-rated value of the handset calculated at the time of termination. For example A customer signs up for 24 months and the current cost of the phone is $17,180 + GCT, if the contract is broken in the 20th month of the contract then the cost the customer will pay will be calculated as follows: $17,180/24= $715.83, $715.83 x 4 months = $2,863.33 New data customers receive a 1 month, 1 GB free data plan on all 4G Mobile phone purchases offered. Customers will be required to provide the dealer with their mobile number to be associated with the handset purchased, identified by the IMEI and the code they receive will be used by the Dealer to complete the transaction to provide the free 4G data service. For existing Customers the 4G data service will be added to the existing mobile number that is already in use, providing the customer has not activated a plan since August 16, 2012. For new Digicel customers, the plan will be activated on the newly purchased mobile number. Customers will not be able to transfer the 4G data service. Minors are eligible for this Competition but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when coming to purchase a handset. Digicel hereby specifically reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper play of the Promotion, as determined by Digicel in its sole discretion. In such event, Digicel hereby specifically reserve the right (but not the obligation) to award some other prize hereunder (as determined by Digicel in its sole discretion) by means of a random drawing from among the eligible entries received up until the time of the impairment. Customers remain bound by the Digicel Select or Digicel Flex terms and conditions. The general Terms and Conditions governing the relationship between Digicel and the Digicel 4G Broadband Subscriber are set out in Digicel Broadband Consumer WiMAX Terms and Conditions and are additional to the terms and conditions hereof Digicel reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Promotion, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw the Promotion.
