From the mean score, it can be concluded that majority of the respondents agreed that they have problems when speaking in English. This can be proven from the mean 3.00 (SD= 0.740). They believe that the problems they faced hinders them to have a conversation in English with their friends (mean=3.05, SD=0.718). From my opinion, the first problem that students face when speak in English is the confidence level when speak English is low. This might be due to the weakness in pronunciation skill. Most students feel not confident when speak English because they do not know whether the words they pronounced are correct or not. As a result, they are refuse to speak English with their friends because they will feel shy when their pronunciation is not correct. On the other hand, most respondents excited to be involved in role play if there is chance to do it (mean=3.07, SD=0.691). They want to be involved in role play because they think that role play is the best medium to help them improving their pronunciation. This is because, during role play, they pronounce the words and they heard their friends also pronounce the words. So, they are learn to correct their pronunciation indirectly without being subconscious by themselves. High mean score in statement 5 clearly support this finding where most respondents like role plays in English. This is evident from the mean 3.10 (SD=0.662). They are enjoying role plays because role plays allow them to show their ability to speak in English even though they know that their pronunciation skill of words is not good. So, they think by joining role plays can help them to improve their pronunciation. It is glad to see that almost respondents perceive that the role plays has helped to boost their pronunciation skill (mean=3.37,SD=0.615). This can be proven when they confess that they feel confident to speak in English during role plays (mean=3.20,SD=0.664). This show that, pronunciation affects the confidence level of students during speak in English. When they know their pronunciation of words is correct, they are able to pronounce the words without being hesitate the

pronunciation is either correct or not. As a result, they feel confident to speak with others. It is also interesting to note that the respondents truly believe that role plays can create an active English language classroom. This is shown by the highest mean score that is 3.40 (SD=0.621). The students believe that role plays can create English language classroom because it gives fun to them. In a role playing situation, students get the opportunity to practice skills they might not use on a regular basis. Skills such as debating, acting, reasoning and negotiating can be flexed in hypothetical situations when they cannot normally be used in a classic classroom situation. Students are also able to adapt to situations they might not normally find themselves in, forcing the creativity of the students to be exerted. Interpretation of the findings implies that the respondents thought that role plasy can improve their pronunciation skill. They also believe that it learning classroom . . Qualitative Data Analysis Data obtained from interview sessions was also analysed qualitatively. 1) The usage of English language among students of IPG Kent. According to the interviewees (lecturer and students), students do not use English frequently because they do not see the purpose of using English.
