The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches
over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

Weekly Theme: “The Ministry of Children”


1. Pray for the children director Sharon Huwang in her serving children ministry.
2. Pray for the core team, and the work that the core team is planning for and working on.
3. Pray for the children that they know how to obey their parents in the name of the Lord.
4. Pray for the Sunday School teachers and coworkers.
5. Pray for parents that they will raise and discipline their children in accordance with words in the
Bible.
6. Pray to God that He will lift up more faithful, spirit-filled, humble, and wise brothers and
sisters to serve in the children ministry.
7. Pray for the four current church’s key goals: church expansion, church planting, pastor search,
and new elder nomination.
8. Pray for the mission organizations:
Organizations: Taiwan Operation Dawn, Far East Bible Training School, ATS.
Missionaries: Marcus & Jennifer Baeder, Milo Cho.
Seminary student: Douglas Micky, Beacon U. Pray for the peace and safety of those
brothers and sisters who are on oversea short-term mission.

--- English Ministry / Youth Ministry:


1. Motive. Pray that candidates would come with a desire to know God and be known by Him, and no
other reason.
2. Understanding. Pray that baptism candidates would understand that relationship with God comes by
His grace alone, not by any good works (including baptism). Pray that they would really recognize
their sinfulness and uselessness without God, and embrace the love of a Savior who would love and
embrace them anyway.
3. The work of the Holy Spirit. Pray that God would use this baptism class and interview process to
mold, refine, and search out the hearts of each person candidating for baptism. Pray that He would
personally speak to each of them in the course of the next month
4. Pray for Elder Yang's Ambassadors of Grace and the rest of their travels on the West Coast and that
more prayer and financial support may be raised for CASA.
5. Please pray for Jim LeMaster, the English speaker of our Missions Conference, as he prepares for two
messages and two workshops he will present during the weekend of March 27 – 29.
6. Please pray for the High school Sunday School teachers; Pray for God to safeguard the physical and
spiritual well being, and bless them with the wisdom and patient.
9th Grade- Chris Chu;
10th Grade - Ray Lam and Carol Yang;
11th Grade - Johnny Lee;
12th Grade - Shirley Chin and Helen Zhang.
--- Children Ministry:
1. Pray for Spring quarter's Sunday school teachers and helpers.
2. Pray for children’s ministry council.
