On the Munificence granted to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, By the Pole

and Gnostic of the time, Habib Ahmad Mashur bin Taha al-Haddad, may Allah sanctify his secret Sayed Taha bin Muhammad as-Saqqaf arranged the recitation of the noble prophetic mawlid in his house in Jiddah on 26th of Safar 1407H. My master said; Praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. Allah, glorified and exalted is He, said to His Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace: We have given you abundance, so pray to your Lord and sacrifice. As for the one who hates you, he will be without issue. (al-Kawthar: 1-3) This chapter is from the short chapters of the Quran, but contains many meanings and secret, which no interpreter can fully explain. Within this chapter, Allah favours his Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with munificence (Ata), and great bounty (fadl al-kabir), with His saying: We have given you abundance a munificence with the meaning of totality. Allah, glorified and exalted is He, has given him everything. Al-Kawthar has many meanings as the scholars have said. From among them is the drinking pool which has been mentioned in the hadiths. May our Lord make us from among its drinkers, inshallah.

From among the interpretations is it being an abundant good, and an abundance of virtue, all of these enter under the meaning of al-kawthar. It can also mean blessed descendents, may Allah bless them.

However the general meaning is that We have given you abundant good which includes the good of the world and the good of the afterlife. Allah the exalted has given it to him and entrusted it to him. We have given you abundant good. It is just as you may give someone something and entrust it with him. As long as Allah has given him al-kawthar, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, apportions it and divides it to those whom Allah has granted providence to receive it. The suitability (of what and how much people receive) depending upon the times and places. He is the divider (al-Qasim), may the blessings of Allah and peace be upon him and his family. The second munificence (al-atiyya), is in his saying, the exalted, your Lord will surely give to you and you will be content. (Duha :50), there is no doubt within this giving, no obscurity, it is a complete giving. Allah, glorified is He, has consigned to him the creation all of it. This is the immense munificence which delights our beloved Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and delights us behind him, someone once said, We have read in duha you will be given And that munificence has gladdened our hearts, And god forbid O Messenger of Allah, how can he be pleased? When there should be from us any who is punished or harmed.

The munificence from Allah for our Prophet, O Allah bless him, is a great virtue. Enough for you is the hadith of intercession regarding the day of judgement when he will prostrate and call out to the Protector and it will be said to him, lift your head, ask and you will be given, intercede and it will be accepted. He will not be satisfied with this until he intercedes with Allah regarding those upon whom the decree has been written. He will ask Allah, glorified and exalted is He, that there remains none from his nation in the fire. O Allah send blessings and peace upon him and his family. There will come to him the call from The Real towards Malik the guardian of the Fire, and so he will remove from it those who have in their heart even an atoms weight of tawhid. Until even Malik will say you have not left anything of the anger of your Lord O Muhammad. 1 The point is that the munificence (al-ataa) from Allah to his Prophet is a great matter which gives us confidence, and joy in our beloved, O Allah send blessings upon him and his family. And we will be included inshallah in his intercession. I began with this explanation because of that which was fixed in my thoughts as a result of the expansion (inshirah) in such gatherings organised between our brothers in Jiddah. In particular in this month. Rabi fi Rabi fi Rabi. May the good of it be abundant upon us, and the light of it rise over us. Rabi, O how great is Rabi, it comes to us every year, and repeats itself at every time, it produces its fruits at all times, by permission of its Lord. (Ibrahim 14:25). Praise be to Allah for this blessing, this talk has emerged because of that which has been established in my heart, and because of that which I feel in

every gathering I attend and look at these brothers of mine, all of them upon one way and purpose. All yearning and desiring for all of these bounties. There is no doubt that the one who works will find, and the one who strives, receives, and the one who intends, in which case, every man will have that which he intended.
