Up to now, when damage occurred under a tiled floor or a core hole had to be drilled, the affected tile usually had to be destroyed and replaced after completion of repair work.

The problem:
Rare tiles or old patterns which can no longer be obtained, or only at great cost.

The TilexPro system stands out with its practical details: Depending on the version, the system chamber can be adapted to all standard tile formats up to 30 cm or 50 cm in size, both square and rectangular. TilexPro has carrying handles made from non-heat conducting material, so it can be placed to one side without protective gloves in order to remove the treated tile. Preserve tiles and save costs no problem with TilexPro!

With the TilexPro system, tiles can be loosened from the substrate in just a few working steps: First of all, the tile is freed up by the use of a joint cutter. Then the system chamber is adapted to the size of the tile to be removed, placed in position and heated up with the hot air blower. The tile can then be removed from the substrate in no time at all without destruction and replaced again after repair work is completed.

Additionally recommended accessories for the use of the system are a joint cutter and a combination device, with which adhesive residues can be removed from the tile and the substrate.

Our practical tips for determining the type of drill hole during restorative drying :
The use of non-destructive measuring technology is of special importance when carrying out core drilling. Such preventative methods ensure that cables or underfloor heating systems are not damaged inadvertently during drilling. The wall scanner can reliably detect a variety of different materials, like synthetic pipes, wood, metal or even cavities down to a fraction of an inch in walls, floors and ceilings. Thats why the wall scanner and this nondestructive detection method are excellently-suited for determining where to position core holes or other measuring points, especially in floors with underfloor heating, ceilings with hidden wooden beams and drywalls etc.

You may also decide to use an infrared camera to locate the exact whereabouts of your underfloor heating so that you dont accidentally drill into any tubes. But remember this will only work when there is warm water circulating through the tubes. If there is a warm water circulation, the infrared camera can be used as a nondestructive means to detect leaks in all kinds of pipes, because then any warm

water from a leak will saturate the surrounding material thereby increasing the temperature of the area around the leak. Being able to depict such a temperature increase is a big advantage when it comes to locating leaks or burst pipes. The infrared cameras can produce clear and conclusive thermographic images wherever the pipes run, even in cases where they would otherwise be difficult or virtually impossible to reach.
