Funstasticz Sdn. Bhd. is a fast growing organization.

Due to the increasing number of newly recruited staff, the Human Resource Manager, Mr. Muhammad Lutfi Latif feels a team-building weekend needs to be held. Below is the proposal to be submitted to the CEO of Funstasticz Sdn. Bhd. Bearing in mind the 5C's of communication, complete the parts of this proposal. You are advised to include your own additional information wherever necessary.

1.0 Executive summary Records from Human Resource department and complaints from departmental managers prove that some of the newly recruited employees of Funtasticz Sdn Bhd are lack in participations in a team assigned to them. To improve their level of participations in a team, the company need to conduct a teambuilding weekend among the new and senior employees of the company. The proposed activity will cost the company RM 9,800 and will increase the level of participations of the new employees in the company and maximize their job performances in the future.

2.0 Background Our record on the past 3 months shows that some of our newly recruited employees are lack in participations and giving ideas in a team. Further, the Human Resource department has received complaints from some of departmental managers about their lack of participations in a team assigned to them. In addition, the survey that have been conducted by Human Resource department on senior workers in the company shows that 90% of them are not satisfied with the participations of the new employees.

3.0 Problem 3.1 The newly recruited employees are the future of Funtasticz Sdn Bhd. In order to attain future achievement, the company need to expose to them about the ways to accomplish a job, mainly in a team. 3.2 Through this activity, it will provide them with the ability to work in a team, with other employees. The activity will provide an ice-breaking moment for them to get to know each other so that it will be easier to accomplish a task in a team.

4.0 Objectives 4.1 The objective of this proposal is to enhance the relationship among the newly recruited employees and other senior workers. 4.2 The relevant of this proposal is to create cooperation among the employees to work together in the same company and department. From this activity, employees can build a strong team among them and to familiarize the working environment in the company to them.

5.0 Plan of work 5.1 The proposed activity will take place on 11th December 2013, from 830am until 530pm. All of the newly recruited employees are obligated to participate and only the selected senior employees will be participate in this activity. 5.2 On 11th December 2013, participants are required to gather in front of Funtasticz Tower at 830am. Buses are provided to transport participants from Funtasticz Tower to the venue of activity, Taman Botani Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam. Following are the details of activities to be held. Ice-breaking session Treasure hunt Fishing Flying-fox Wall climbing Kayaking

6.0 Budget The proposed activity will cost Funtasticz Sdn Bhd RM 7,300. Following are the details of the expenses. Catering (Breakfast, Lunch and Hi-tea) 65@RM20 RM 1,300 Venue (Taman Botani Bukit Cerakah) Equipments (Activities) Transportation (Buses) Total RM 5,000 RM 2,500 RM 1,000 RM 9,800

7.0 Conclusion This matter is a serious concern of the Human Resource department and to Funtasticz Sdn Bhd. The company will face huge problems in the future if this problem is taking for granted. Employees cooperation is crucial to the company to create trust among them and in creating a more comfortable working environment in the company and maximize their working performances.
