Introduction
PaperTab - World's First Paper Tablet PC

PaperTab as the name tells all about it. It's a paper tablet, as thin and flexible as paper. It was unveiled to the media at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Abstract
The PaperTab tablet feels just like a sheet of paper yet is equipped with a flexible, high-resolution 10.7-inch plastic display developed by Plastic Logic, with an interactive touch screen. The device is lightweight and robust so it can be pushed around on a desk while providing a magazine-like reading experience. By bending one side of the display, users can also navigate through pages like a magazine without needing to press a button. Instead of using several apps or windows on a single display, users have 10 or more interactive displays or 'PaperTabs' -- one per app in use.

Market Overview of Paper Tablet

Queens University researchers from Kingston, Ont. have teamed up with Intel and Plastic Logo to invent a tablet prototype that resembles and feels like a piece of paper. Dubbed the PaperTab tablet, the fully-flexible device has an interactive plastic display and a 10.7-inch, high resolution E-ink touch screen. The tablet, showcased at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada Jan. 8, features plastic transistor technology courtesy of Plastic Logic and is run by a second generation Intel core i5 processor.

Instead of using several apps or windows on a single display, users have 10 or more interactive displays or PaperTabs one per app in use as seen in this video.

Using several PaperTabs makes it much easier to work with multiple documents, Queens Universitys Human Media Lab director Roel Vertegaal said in a statement.

Within five to 10 years, most computers, from ultra-notebooks to tablets, will look and feel just like these sheets of printed color paper.

Environments
Despite the availability of best touch and tangible ePads, the developers havent taken a stop yet. More and more is coming with glimpse of time. Same is the case at Queens University Canada, where the sharpest and thinnest tab is developed, look alike a paper and working down in the attribute of a core i5 processor by Intel, this paper tablet is fully integrated with the smart app community. You can always experience the high quality images and videos on a 10.7 plastic sheet display which is flexible and molding in nature, it works this way. More comprehensive feature is that each tab is a complete app and you can join multiple tabs to show a larger display with ongoing effect of each particular tab. You can change the page by curving the corners up and down. You can fast forward the videos and audios by simply folding the tab.

You can always check for your e-mails and PDF files by simply tapping them.

Moreover one can share the things between two tabs by drag and drop method.

The best part is, by limiting a specific application to each tab, you can simply tap two tabs to share the things.

Distribution Reviews for Product

The concept of paper tablet is a multi-dimensional working approach to combine the tangible existence and weightless features of paper along with the smart computation of digital processor. Once the product is launched the distribution channels will be mainly the freelancers, the showrooms and yes advertisement. The introductory price is going to b a little less than original as initially the distributers will gain less profit so that the product can be in the market for sure. Experts are expecting more from both Intel and developers to be engraved on the smart app panel. This paper tablet is quite useful and broad features in regards to human desires.
