Test Fluid:

Air or Nitrogen at 10 ~ 52C

Test Diff. Pressure:

Same as operating diff. pressure or 3.5 bar (50 psi) whichever is the least

*Bubbles/minute is a suggested alternative based on a suitable calibrated measuring device, in this case a 1/4in.

OD x 0.032 in (0.8mm) wall tube submerged in water to a depth of from 1/8 to in (3 to 6mm). The tube end shall be
cut
square and smooth with no chamfers or burrs and tube axis shall be perpendicular to the surface of water.

As per ISA RP 7.1- Allowable Leakage for Pressure Pipe Testing:

For signal air tubing:

0.07 kg/cm per 30m per 2mins.

Test pressure: 1.0 kg/cm air
