Clear Case base line creation Process Worksapce : ArunWorkspace Projects: IFC, IFC_UI Step 1: Copy the changed

flex files to their corresponding folders as below.

Step 2: It will ask for overwrite as shown below, proceed by pressing yes.

Step 3: It will ask for clear case password for checking out the file. Use Mukunds ID mxs8259 password Oct@2010.

Step 4: After that it performs check out activity as show below. Click on New to create new activity for check out.

Step 5:

Enter activity name and create the check out activity.

Step 6:

Complete the checkout by clicking on apply.

Step 7:

After completing the above operation you can see the tick mark on the checkout files as below

Step 8:

After pasting the flex files, clean the flex project. It will generate the html and swf files under bindebug folder. Copy the files and paste them on IFC java project. As shown below.

Now follow the same procedure above to checkout the file on java.

Step 9:

To check in the changed checked out file. Follow the below screen shots. Right click on the clear case project and select ClearCase Search.

Click on search.

Search displays the results below. Select all the checked out resource and proceed with check in as highlighted below.

Step 11: Check in the files as below.

Step 12: After check in the files will be in the status as below as loaded.

Step 13:

After check in right click on the project and select Deliver stream for Delivering the project to clear case. And follow the below screen shots.

It is mandatory to complete the deliver operation for others to deliver. Hence after completing the deliver stream press on the complete deliver operation as highlighted below.

Step 14:

Creating Base line. To do so change to the clear case perspective and follow the screen shots below.

Make a note of this base line. We need the above info for open make.

Recommending the base line.

OM Package Creation 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Click on the OM workflow perspective Click on workflow summary Select the TMSIFC workflow, right click and chose edit. Click on configure tab. Under Configure environment, click on the CC Baseline. Click on edit and replace the value with the latest base line which we have created above. Do the same procedure for other variables like MEISTER_EMAIL_SUCCESS and MEISTER_EMAIL_FAILURE and replace with your email ID. 7. Save the workflow and click on execute. After few mins you will receive the deployment success email.

Follow the link on the mail and look for the package name. It should be smiliar to hd-tcgrid-tp-IFC-1.0-8.x86_64.rpm . With this info request the Policy captains to do a deployment.
