Almansa 20 May 2013 English 2313 - 2337 Science and Possibilities of a Deity Ever since I learned about the Law of attraction my life changed and I was fascinated by it. At some point in my life after taking physics class my professor taught me about quantum she taught me the scientific side of the Law of attraction. The knowledge at first made me deny the thought and existence of God or a deity but my studies in Biology and a research on the Law of attraction and quantum, I had an epiphany. What if science has already discovered God, what if I tell you all of this can work as proof that there is in fact a higher being to which we are a part of. I always wanted to share my thoughts and discovery with anyone curious or willing to know this, so I decided to use this chance to enlighten my audience. The reason I chose this subject is because I wanted to show you all, that there exist a possibility that science and some degree of spirituality can coexist. As we all know the universe is composed of energy and it is believed to be a network of consciousness; we are a small part of that network (Loken). The Law of attraction states that what you think you manifest (Byrne), this refers to our mind, conscious create manifestations at a whim. So why does this react to our thoughts? And if we can create something with just a thought, then are not gods ourselves? Is there one to begin with? My end is to show you the science behind this and teach how every detail fits in within the picture and how the universe is the closest entity to that of God.

Every last one of us is made up of energy and atoms both that can never be destroyed or created; only transmute, reconstruct and deconstruct or transfer. Every atom works like a wave, it is everywhere and within the atom there is the lowest sub atomic particle/ wave known as quantum (Torres). We can make this particle react with our thoughts and our speech. The reason for this phenomenon is that our thoughts and our speech resonate at a specific frequency that can alter the quantum present in every atom (Buchanan). This could explain how in the olden times, ancient tribes would dance to make rain. It was because their form of communication made the quantum react in a way to cause the rain. Quantum is the secret behind law of attraction. Everything you think, you attract (Byrne) this was supposedly limited to your creativity or if the time was adequate or it simply was not meant to be. I think that there is a limit of when or where it could happen depending on how strong you are with the thought and how you will act on it. Furthermore if you want to attract something like a lover or a position, your thoughts wavelength could be in conflict with that of another person, making your ambition hard to get. For instance you want this person but you cannot attract him/her with thought alone or he/she is not interested in you, what will happen is that your wavelength will not be in harmony with the other. Same with a job or goal, you can attract certain things related to it, but to achieve it you have to take action. Our minds are the one part of us that is not physical and has no such links to our body, it just exists; our mind is a collective of conscience, a capability for abstract thinking and reasoning (Vazquez). Angie Vazquez mentions in her book that in ancient times the mind was believed to be the soul. The mind has no physical link in our bodies, but it is believed the mind is separated from the brain and linked at a metaphysical level or that it is the result of a genetic structure within the brain, this isnt clear yet. The word mind was given to divide it from the terminologies

Garcia 3 soul or spirit so that science and religion would not confuse the two, this proved to be effective and today it is absolute. Nowadays the definition consists in soul is what is within the body and the mind is within somewhere in the brain. Everyone is made of energy and atom (Travis). One would think space and everything in it is separated but in truth everything is always in constant contact but everything in the universe is in constant motion (Loken). Because it is connected with a field of information, this gives speculation that the universe itself might be conscious or that it is all just a network of conscience this theory is called Cosmic Consciousness. Think for a second, we can think due to conscience and if the universe is just another being, hypothetically speaking. Why can we affect its surroundings? Merlin Taylor mentions that our mind can think at a certain frequency that can affect space and time (this was before quantum or The Secret has seen the light of day). He says that there is a certain wavelength that resonates with our thoughts, this made believed that the mind was able to go beyond reality but that was all theory and that it could somehow be related to the cosmic. Now in 2006 we learn of Law of attraction and in 2010 we learn the science behind it. We can indeed make the world to a way we want it to be, this brings to question prayer. People pray and supposedly stuff happens and we get exited if we receive. What if its the law of attraction? What if we are using our unique frequency to communicate the world around us? The universe is where supposedly everything started according to the Big Bang theory, with the Higgs particle/God particle. But we are indeed the results of space dust (Taylor). If the cosmos is indeed the genesis, it would make sense we carry a piece of it within us, like they say in church God is inside every one of us and God was or is the beginning. If energy and atoms can only be transmuted and never be destroyed but de-constructed than arent we all in a sense immortal? Death, Rebirth or reincarnation; construct, deconstruct or

transmutation. After all we are made of atoms. If our mind possess the special frequency to communicate with the universe, which is equivalent to the soul connected to the father. Than is it not obvious that science has maybe discovered what could be God? Recent finds in the internet were made wildly popular in social networks such as the following photos (Fig 1 & Fig 2), speculating that we are modeled after The Universe. But it is all speculation. Even though it is interesting to know that there is a resemblance to the cosmos. We are modeled after the very image of God.

Most of you that are becoming aware of these words, you may or may not understand what I was trying to say with the essay but I believe that science and religion get closer in coinciding each moment. I am not a man of my peoples God but I have the conviction with the knowledge of my studies that there is something deeper than what others think. But then again deities only exist in our minds, like ancient Greek philosopher Plato theorized In a realm of ideas. We create our images of God, whether he is human or perfect is entirely up to us. I am not denying the existence of one nor do I accept my peoples view of a god. But I think there within what science knows and along with a little of religious beliefs can we find the truth. Mind and soul are one of the things that coincide almost perfectly. According to reincarnation we live past lives, psychology has discovered ways to experience memories from past lives via regression or hypnosis. So if you and I lived past lives what do I carry on? Is it the soul or the mind, if so why do we have the records of that past that lie within our consciousness? Could it be genetically inherited? Or does the frequency or energy lives on to reshape into another human? Time will tell.
