Jim: Mike Lehmkuhler is following this for our team; here's his summary of the status. Bottom line, we have no reason at this point to believe there's validity to the job creation numbers (or inferred project).

MyCar is a battery electric vehicle that has a range of 40 miles and a top speed of 40 mph. It is considered a "microcar'' (about 8 feet long, 5 feet high & weighs less than 800 pounds) and in no way competes with Toyota Prius or Honda Insight, which are sedan sized gasoline hybrid electric vehicles. It is slightly smaller than a Smart Car. Here's where things stand at the moment: From June to October this year, visitors to the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea will be able to test drive a small two-seater electric vehicle (EV), as a result of a deal struck during the UN Climate Change Conference COP151ast December in Copenhagen between the Chinese firm EuAuto Technology and Business Center Bornholm, reports the latter in a press release.
Not in full sales production mode and I'm sure McAuliffe's group didn't pay much for this. Here's a picture:
