RATIONALE A high value, concept driven designer focusing on typography, layout and colour to work across both print and web. I have used my nal major project to retain my focus on concept driven design, whilst exploring design for branding through print. I have continued to experiment with colour choices, print methods, paper stock and print nishes. I have explored how print can be applied to a variety of different outcomes and translated through to online media. I used my nal major project to work on both collaborative briefs as well as independent briefs, to demonstrate my versatility as a designer. I worked on live briefs to demonstrate my ability to work effectively with a client and develop essential time and brief management skills. Ultimately, I have produced design which interests me and will sum me up as a designer when presented within my portfolio and end of year show exhibition. BLOG.

I chose to investigate this topic as it has given me a deeper understanding of print processes and allowed me to then use this knowledge within my work. 1 week BRIEF 1 A collaborative investigation into publication design with a focus on commercial print. I chose this brief as I wanted to work on a fashion based brief and it allowed me to work with a live client and have contact with commercial printers. 18 weeks
