Every generation of Range Rover creates a brand new benchmark; the fourth generation is the latest bold evolution of the iconic design. Being taut and structured, the new shape is more refined, with optimised proportions and sleeker lines; a modern interpretation of traditional design cues. The key lines and architectural shapes instantly tell you its a Range Rover. The all-new Range Rover builds on the marques three classic lines. The lower accent graphic, roof line and the continuous belt line that flow around the vehicle give it a unique sense of composure and unmistakable form. This generation features a gently tapered silhouette, with near-flush glazing and gloss black pillars accentuating the floating roof effect, contributing to better aerodynamics. Consistent elements like the side vent graphic and lower accent graphics are a harmonious reminder of its heritage.

Step inside the Range Rover and it feels like home. The minimalist design removes distractions, with the broader, more refined centre console putting essential controls within easy reach, only becoming noticeable when needed, allowing the driver to effortlessly control the car. The enhanced refinement cossets all occupants from the outside world, giving them a sense of wellbeing, with the clean, elegant surfaces covered in fine leathers and veneers imbuing the interior with a feeling of serenity and calm.

The optional Rear Executive Class indulges both of the rear seat passengers, allowing for even more space as well as power reclining and massage seats. For added convenience the elegant centre console houses the seat controls, independent climate control, USB and power connections plus an optional cool box. Being finished in a combination of beautiful leathers, elegant veneers and metal trim, the rear cabin is a pleasure to spend time in.

The introduction of a new optional panoramic roof brings a new aspect to the Range Rover. It floods the interior with light, which enhances the feeling of space and being connected to the outside. It lets the world in yet the full length power blind gives privacy at the touch of a button.

The versatile split tailgate is distinctly Range Rover and improved. The lower gate, useful as a seat for viewing social and sporting events, has been shortened making it easier to reach in. And because the upper gate is now longer it helps give extra protection from the elements. For convenience both gates are electronically operable. The Range Rovers qualities also make it a superb car for towing large trailers, horseboxes and caravans with ease, thanks to the tremendous 3500kg payload. The Range Rovers high performing set of petrol and diesel engines use the latest powertrain technology. When combined with the new eight speed automatic transmission, fuel consumption and CO 2 emissions are cut by up to 25 per cent from the previous generation Range Rover. The Intelligent Stop/Start system on the new TDV6 diesel models automatically shuts down the engine when the vehicle stops, automatically starting again as soon as you lift your foot from the brake.
