[VESPA S 50 / S 125] Vespa retains a long-serving tradition of producing young and dynamic scooter designs with no compromise of tradition The S reflects these inspirational values however its minimal yet decisive styling refers to its more sports orientated ideals of keeping life simple lifting retro styling cues from of the 60s and 70s. Available in both 50cc and 125 cc the S features the all steel Vespa body, trimmed down guards, simple storage pockets, a chrome sports style speedo and retro squared off headlight design. The S 50 features a low emission 2 stroke and a tapered sports style seat while the 4-stroke 125 also features EFI. Cut through the backstreets or carve up the traffic. [VESPA LX 50 / LX 125 / LX 150] Vespa, a designer scooter to meet the need for a stylish avant-garde mode of transport. Only Vespa can provide a scooter with great performance and economy in a classic look all-steel body. Compact and economical the LX range covers three popular sizes; 50cc, 125cc and 150cc. All feature a prominent round headlight, chrome grab rail, excellent under seat storage, and a lockable glove box. [CHOOSING YOUR SCOOTER] First of all you need to ask yourself what you will use the scooter for. Think about the roads youll be using and the speed of the surrounding road users. It will help to use the guide chart to your right to narrow down your choice. You can then think about the style of scooter you require. Piaggio is the contemporary brand with the modern clean lines. Gilera is the sport brand with aggressive styling and performance to match. Vespa is the classic favourite and stands alone as the embodiment of scooter style. Maximum speeds are a guide only and are affected by load and weather conditions. Extended and continuous operation should be around 8085 percent of the maximum speed capability and maximum speed reserved for intermittent bursts. 50cc scooters are speed limited to 50km/h by law and allow car licence holders in QLD, WA, NT and SA to ride on a car licence.
