Kondapalli Kothagudem: The proposal to construct a new BG line between Kondapalli Kothagudem (126.50 Kms) was examined the State Govt. had agreed earlier on 4.2.2010 for sharing the cost of project 13% under PPP in Railway Authorities. Whereas, the Railway Authorities requested the State Government for sharing 50% cost of the project and also to provide required land there for free of cost. In the meeting it has been appraised that the distance between existing section of Kothagudem (Bhadrachalam Road)DornakalKondapalli is 161.20 Kms, whereas the project distance between KothagudamKondappli is 126.50 Kms. Thus the project line is operationally shorter by 34.70 kms. Further, it serves as an The alternative route between DornakalVijayawada which is already saturated. 50:50. Bhadrachalam Road Visakhapatnam: Sri T.A.L.N.Prasad, SE Railway, has stated that this project is falling in 3 districts covering Tribal Areas and is at survey stage and after completion of survey a proposal will be submitted to State Government. Whereas, the Railway Authorities proposed for cost sharing at 50:50. the proposal is under consideration by the Government. OTHER ISSUES: It has been represented to the Principal Secretary to Govt., TR&B Dept. on consent(i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) to allot funds of Rs.1.00 crore for NadikudiSrikalahasthi project Rs.1.00 crore for AkkannapetMedak project and Rs.20 crores to Kadapa Bangalor project. For consent for 86% cost sharing in respect of Bitragunta Donakonda project, 58% cost sharing for Krishna Vikarabad project 75% cost sharing for Gadwal Macherla project
