What's the difference between Taxila PGDM and others?

This important question commonly asked by our applicants has a simple answer: Internships. Not only one but three!
While the recruitment statistics and academic aspects (i.e. curriculum, classroom hours, teaching methodology) are almost same in top 20 B schools in India, there is a difference in the structure of the programme. The Taxila PGDM has three internships of two months each in every semester right from first semester. In 2011-12, 100% of the class completed three internships with stipend as high as Rs. 100,000/ per month. Majority of internships were in either the corporate sector, with the greatest number of these students working in the consumer/luxury goods and the energy industry; or finance. 95% worked in a new company and most of the time, even a new sector and function Many of these students came back with full-time offers or at least, a better understanding of which industry they would like to focus on for their career search.
