INDICATORS I am often asked Why the crusade against indicators?

Indicators or should I say, my reliance on indicators, cost me a lot of money and a lot of worthless time believing in them. Unfortunately the road to trading is littered with indicators of some description since seeing a line or two lines move instead of bars or candlesticks is more appealing to the Get Rich Quick idiots who disguise themselves as rookie or newbie traders. I really shouldnt criticise those who use and rely on indicators for their trading because it is they who fund our profits and really, the more of them that use them, the more profits there will be for PASR traders.

welcome to the forum, and becoming part of the family ...I can say I have been here since near the beginning and followed Strats FF thread pretty much from day one... Im pretty sure you wont find such a
dedicated bunch of traders, great knowledge base and of course excellent mentor and ringmaster as Strat anywhere else. So far as I am aware everyone who sticks with the site makes
worthwhile progress....bearing mind it can take time.

Currently this year I have closed trades over 7800 pips t o the good, with open trades having over 3000 pips still on the table.
The growth of my 3 trading accounts combined is in excess of 21% This has only been achieved by putting in the hard work and sticking it out, here. Welcome Markus. Get ready to take your trading to a whole new level. BUT, plan on spending many hours reading and understanding all of the fantastic material on the site. Listen to everything Strat and the guys teach you, because they really know what they're talking about. I'm pretty new to the site, but I can tell you that it's the best Forex education investment you will ever make. Have fun! I stumbled across Strats thread on forex factory and i was very impressed in fact i think its one of the
only threads worth reading.

I look forward to learning new things from a master trader and also make some new friends along the way. I've been interested in price action since day 1 and Strat's methods just make a whole lot of sense to me. I'm at the point in my education where I'm ready to focus my attention exclusively on PASR. In my quest for PA and S/R I have so far carefully read through "The Path". I have also r ead 'James16' thread on Forexfactory and now I am in the process of reading through 'Strat's Long Term Stress Free Trading'. As I understand I am expected to read and understand at least first 200 pages hence I have so far reached at 50th page. I must admit I am enjoying the process and my thought process has changed so
much over last few weeks and some brilliant learning.

Thanks a ton to Strat, Nicola, Baba G and all other members who has shared the golden lessons for the ones who are prepared to see the truth. I am very glad to be a part of this family. Once I complete my reading of at least 200 pages on forex factory thread, I look forward to become a full member of this site and continue with my learning and also to assist whoever I am able to provide my service. There are lots of good stuff in this forum. I'm still a novice here but I'm less stress
already because I feel I got to the right place.

P.S. All members in here are with their real photos You've found the right path. Now it is important to stay on it. As a beginner myself and stepping only the first steps I can say that You won't be disappointed of joining this team. The light bulb above my head is shining brighter every day. This is a very easy way to earn a living, made difficult by the demons that reside in our heads, I will be interested to see your posts when you have finished your reading of the stuff on here, it will take you some time but stick with that. If you have conquered the psycho stuff you are 90% there. Welcome to the forum a great place to learn the art of trading. I come from a little experience in forex, not in terms of time, but in terms of what I have learned up to now that is almost nothing.

and, at a certain point, I felt confused and lost on the sea of forex. But I was lucky because someone has throwed me a life buoy
I made my choise and i'm here to study, learn, understand and trade Strats method and especially stick with it I have so much work to do but I have no hurry because I know that now Im in the right place. I haven't expected that there are more contents i am going to learn here. I thought that everything is there in FF and on THE PATH page here. I had lots of confusion about making a plan, about identifying SR levels, about types of trades discussed there in FF like Trend Trading, resistance to 1st support or support 1st resistance etc. I was with lots of questions to ask you guys here but fortunately i found that most of the questions are already answered here. This is one of the best content about FXTrading i have learned in my short
2 years FX life(Especially SR identification is fantastic). I am feeling great that i have subscribed.

Unlike other Price Action forums, we do not trade every price reversal bar or set up. Since our ultimate goal is to teach members to Trade For A Living through trend trading, my PASR method only uses PRICE ACTION candles to trade BACK IN THE DIRECTION OF THE DOMINANT TREND.

GOALS: SHORT, 6 months: knowing better the psycological side of my trading, close every months at least at BE with basic PASR, start with Trend trading.

MEDIUM, 1-4 years: I would "seeing beyond the candles", start building my professional mentality and, of
course, a professional trading capital.
LONG, 7 years: i want to be a professional privat trader by age 40. Now i'm 33.
About my short terms goal i could say that: - i'm pretty satisfied with the psychological side of trading, i don't feel particular emotions when i'm in a trade, in gain or not the this could be. I'm only focused in follow my work-plan. In any case i planned to increase slowly, and gradually the size of my positions, - i'm very satisfied with the % growth of my account. My goal was to close this first period at least at break even. Instead i closed with a gain of 19%, and this for me, as an apprentice, is a great result, that give me a lot of confidence. I'm beginning to find my "style" with PASR, so I want to take another six months to put more secure foundation in what I'm doing. I want to add, that i'm very happy and impressed of what i've learned so far; i'm very happy to say that for me, now, Price Action (PASR) IS the foundation of trading. The other thing i've learned here is the big power of our Strat Shadow. I really think, paying close attention at his behavior, in relation to the price action, we could gain, or save, a mountain of pips. This student, as are others, is well ahead of his goals and especially in becoming a full time Professional Trader. If YOU are SERIOUS about wanting to LEARN to Trade For A Living then join our exclusive membership. However, if you still think trading is a Get Rich Quick enterprise, then do yourself a big favour and take up something less demanding like skydiving without a parachute!
