Why feminism is obsolete

Radical Feminism A careful definition of words would destroy half the agenda of the political left, and a careful analysis of data would destroy the other half -Thomas Sowell Today nearly everyone is in favor of ending discrimination in the law, eliminating gender prejudice at work, and is generally in favor of equality between men and women. I want all of these people to know that they have me as an ally. Nothing would please me more than to live in a world where all gender discrimination had been rooted out, and where prejudice was a scary story we told to our grandchildren. Unfortunately, believing in equality does not make one a feminist. If my readers leave this book and remember only one thing, it would be for them to understand that feminism is not about equality. Feminism is a massive ideological structure which includes Patriarchy, Rape Culture, and even the Patriarchal Terrorism model of domestic abuse. Needless to say, most people who believe in equality do not necessarily subscribe to the ideological framework above. This is what separates people who believe in equality, like me, from feminists. The term Feminist, as used in university classrooms, also refers to Third Wave Feminism or Radical Feminism. This is the type of feminism that will be discussed in this book for the simple reason that it is the feminism that is taught in college classrooms, that lobbies the Whitehouse, and that imposes legislation on the people. While the reader may say to themselves I am not that kind of feminist, they should also realize that these feminists are giving a bad name to everyone who fights for equality. There comes a time in every movement where the rational and level-headed indeviduals must expose the radicals among them, and refuse to further their radical ideology. The word Radical is used to mean Root when used in Radical Feminism. Therefore, a Radical Feminist is someone who does not just want to change the laws to allow equal opportunity to both men and women, but someone who wants to cut to the root of sexism in our society. While this sounds good in theory, in practice getting to the root of the problem has been nothing more than a witchhunt which is so desperate to find hate within the most inoculous cultural situations that it has often become impossible to separate actual complaints from parodies of those complaints.
