He is one of the richest persons in the world. He makes extensive use of technology in every aspect of his life. He encourages and imbibes interest & curiosity in us to know more about the principles he uses to be successful. His philanthropic activities show that he is working actively towards the betterment of the world.

Early Life of Bill Gates


Born on Oct 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington, America. Wife Melinda Gates Children Jenifer Katharine Rory John Phoebe Adele Education Bill Gates had a normal schooling but dropped out of Harvard University in 1975 for the sake of building up the Software empire.

Love of Computer Technology


Debugged programs for CCCs* PDP-10* with Paul Allen. Analyzed local traffic patterns and got 20k in fees. Created first computer virus and crashed a major network on Cybernet. Helped Allen with class scheduling program for their school computer.

Entrepreneur in the Making


Traded knowledge for free machine hours. Debugged software programs for a return of free usage of computer. Worked with undeterred determination from 1978 to 1984. Wrote codes, managed, executed & personally reviewed every line of codes written by employees. Corrected the codes before final shipment to clients.

Beginning of Microsoft
Registered on Nov 26, 1976 Headquarters Microsoft Way, Redmond, Washington. IBM Project Project Chess in 1980 Launch of 1st retail version of MS- Windows on Nov 20, 1985. Development of MS DOS & sale of 100 million copies by 1990. Mission Statement To enable people and businesses throughout the world to realize their full potential.
