Then join the Chartered Accountant Training stream of our TELUS Finance New Grad Development Program which will support you in obtaining your CA designation Our Development Program provides participants with a range of opportunities to develop core competencies in accounting and successful alumni may progress over time into roles ranging from senior analyst to leadership positions within TELUS. Over sixty per cent of Chartered Accountants (CAs) in Canada work in industry, so it makes sense to train CAs in industry. TELUS is proud to have been approved by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) since 2007 and is an early adopter of the Industry Training initiative. We were the first company in Canada to be a training office for CAs in multiple provinces across the country: British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. We are proud to say that some of our program members have also achieved recognition on the UFE National Honour Roll. What will you do? Chartered Accountant stream (offered in BC, Alberta and Ontario) you will join three-year rotational program designed to provide breadth and depth of practical experience you will be able to meet all the strict CICA requirements within 30 months (same as in public accounting firms) you will receive all the financial and educational support for your UFE studies, including participation in CKE and SOA in Ontario and in CASB in British Columbia and Alberta participation in industry-leading UFE prep program, financial support and study leave to take all necessary CA courses leading up to and including writing of the CICA Uniform Final Examination (UFE). all rotations are approved by the CA Institute to support the competency requirements for your designation an experienced CA at TELUS will personally mentor and assist you as you pursue your CA designation
