INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR HABITAT ( PPWE) 1. INTRODUCTION Positive Pressure Welding Enclosure is boundary where air forced into it in controlled manner. PPWE is widely used in the petrochemical industry and hydrocarbon production. With PPWE usage, the hot work is allowed to operate in areas with potential hazardous conditions and suitable for places with limited working space. PPWEE design concept aims to simplify, flexible, fast installation, reduce work risk on hazardous area as well as one factor in cost savings. 2. SPECIFICATIONS Standard size: 2 meter x 4 meter x 4 meter 2.1. Modular system using scaffolding 'which according to the structure of the PPWE installation standards.. 2.2. Panels are made in various sizes ranging from size 1m x 1m and it zipped along. PPWE can produce various sizes and shapes to allow installation in any location. 2.3. PPWE is lightweight, heat resistant, flexible, and each panel is supplied with Velcro to cover the open spaces. 2.4. PPWE were given air pressure using an electric blower / blower pneumatic safe. Each open spaces closed to maintain the air pressure in the PPWE. Air cleaned before use in smoke trapper. High air pressure is required aims to protect flammable gases into the PPWE to ensure that the air in the PPWE is always safe. 2.5. To reduce the reduction of air pressure out of PPWE during entry and exit from PPWE, 2 door and the door made of aluminum were installed. 2.6. Thermometer to show the temperature reading and manometer to indicate the meter readings between 20 ~ 60 pascal available. 2.7. Blower and Shutdown Systems connected to the PPWE in which all electrical appliances and electricity supply will be cut off automatically when harmful gases detected through blower gas detector. 2.8. Lights, electric blower, pneumatic blower explosion-proof and provided additional panels for the purpose of increasing the level of safety of individuals who use PPWE. All equipment will pe pack into metal box for easy removal works.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR HABITAT ( PPWE) 2.9. A supervisor and an experienced technical personnel will be provided for the installation and monitoring of all PPWE installation to ensure PPWE can be installed successfully. A fire watcher were also provided during welding work carried out. Employees are fully responsible for the supervision of work and must take all reasonable precaution and adhere to all procedures to ensure that work is done quickly, according to a predetermined period. 3. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE This procedure describes the steps for installation, maintenance and dismantling equipment PPWE. The procedure used by all personnel involved in the installation PPWE, supervision of work, license with Company representatives, representatives of the work site will mark the work schedule for decisions related to job performance. Before survey work site, an application for service (RFS) was conducted for the purpose of detailed procedures and safe conditions for workers. PREPARATIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION Ensure that the work is correct and permits to work issued. Habitat installation must be maintained using standard checklist. To evaluate the general area will use PPWE. Examine the possibility there is a leak of flammable gases in the work area using a portable gas detector. Ensure primary and emergency door is not blocked by any object. Under normal circumstances airtight doors and panels in the transparent panel attached to the emergency exit. Construction of this panel is 2m x 2m. Install panel and ensure all equipment is properly assembled as required, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring equipment 'scaffold' has been properly erected. Each installed panel shalld be checked at every corner to ensure no leak or damages occurred. Panel that shows signs of damage must be replaced prior to shipment to the customer. Start the installation from the top to the bottom and on both sides of the PPWE and make sure it covers all the obstacles that available. Do not stretch panel with too strong because it will damage the zipper. To ensure there are no holes in the connector panel zipper, Velcro tape is used to cover the top of the zipper. Use string or wire to tie each corner of the panel in any structural form i.e pillars. Do not tie the rope or wire on which the pipe is operating. Place the aluminum door opposite the door out to facilitate exit of individuals in the event of an emergency. PPWE floor lined with aluminum sheet size 4x 2 then followed with fireproof blankets extend if necessary. This method will prevent the panel from being damaged and perforated due to sparks from welding work, and fall down unnoticed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR HABITAT ( PPWE) Place the blower for air intake in areas that have been determined safe air from hazardous gases. 'Spiral Duct' to air in and out of the PSH E should be provided to ensure adequate air pressure in SWE. Make sure all equipment is connected to the gas detector and functioning properly. Manometer placed in aluminum door for easy monitoring. Manometer set at 15 Pascal when the blower is turned on. 15 Pascal readings must be maintained. Warning signs should be displayed if it is necessary for men to block interference from unauthorized parties. Once the checklist is ready for work performed and approved, signs in at the entrance must be displayed. Supervisor is responsible for apply the hot work permit and executing company security policy in addition to being an observer and to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and procedures.

Dismantling To dismantling Habitat , installation procedure will be applied in reverse. Opening the Habitat according to the checklist, keep all panels, equipment and all related accessories in a metal box to ensure the habitat that has been used neat, clean and safe. Dismantling shall be done by Habitat technicians only.

NOTE: HABITAT IS A SIMPLE EQUIPMENT AND CAN BE ASSEMBLED/INSTALL/DISMANTLE WITHIN WORK AREA IN ABOUT 1 TO 3 HOURS.
