Qualification B.Tech, Computer Science And Engineering Work Experience Software Engineer, Media.net ( Directi ) (June 2011 onwards) Contextual categorization engine for Contextual Advertising Platform The project unfolded in 3 parts 2 categorization systems, and 1 contextual relevance matching engine. The category tree has 1,60,000 categories. Keyword Categorization - Developed a contextual system to categorize any given keyword / search query. The system categorized 60 million keywords. URL categorization - Contextually categorizes a given URL based on its page content. Project involved use of basic information retrieval and clusterization techniques. Matching keywords to URLs - Keywords were contextually matched to the URL page content, and helped map Ads for the ad network. Further development on the project involved making the system scalable enough to handle a million requests a day, end to end integration with other analyzers and services, testing and budgeting for the system. Techniques Used: Information retrieval, data mining (basic), Java, Redis. BTech Project, IIIT Hyderabad Fast Tri Diagonal Matrix Solver Designed and implemented a Hybrid Tri Diagonal solving algorithm for the GPU. Initially, implement parallelized versions of 2 standard tri diagonal matrix solving algorithms, on the GPU. Study their performance and design the Hybrid algorithm accordingly.
