SPECIFICATIONS FOR A KEY TELEPHONE SYSTEM 1) System Configuration 1.

1) No of CO Lines : 2 No of Extensions : 12 All extensions are Single Line Telephones and the system shall include a Key phone for programming purpose. 1.2) The system shall have following features. a) Call transfer (Incoming and Outgoing) b) Call Forwarding c) Distinctive Ringing between Internal and External calls d) Hotline e) Intercom 2) Following accessories to be supplied with the System 2.1) Battery backup (Sealed Lead acid) for 4 hours operation with maximum load. 2.2) Toolkit 3) Power supply available is 230VAC, 50Hz. 4) Installation and cabling work will be carried out by the CPC. Configuration and commissioning of the Telephone System shall be carried out by the supplier. 5) Three year comprehensive warranty shall be provided for the complete system. 6) The system shall be completely protected against lightning and power line surges. 7) Separate quotation for recommended spares, with individual cost breakdown for five years continuous operation shall be sent along with the quotation. The cost of recommended spares will be considered for the evaluation. 8) Equipment offered shall not be of proto type and have to be well proven models currently in use and availability of spares shall be guaranteed at least for five years period. 9) The supplier shall indicate customer references and documentary proof shall be sent along with the quotation. 10) Manuals indicating specifications, system features, maintenance procedures and all the technical data shall be sent along with the quotation for evaluation. Manuals containing installation, system configuration and programming procedure shall be supplied along with the system delivery.

11) The supplier shall submit type approval certificate for the system issued by Telecom Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. 12) Selected supplier shall have a fully equipped workshop and competent technical staff to carryout routine maintenance and 24 hour emergency services. Documentary proof for such facilities shall be sent along with the quotation. Suppliers without such facilities will not be considered for the evaluation.
