Designed to function with cryogenic tanks, FIBA's Finnco line of high and low-pressure vaporizers is the perfect fit for operations requiring the conversion of cryogenic liquids to gas. We offer a full range of models with, but not limited to, over 20 different sizes to suit your various needs as well as custom applications. Our vaporizers are manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky and designed with economy and efficiency in mind. Our low-pressure, ambient, cryogenic vaporizer line is designed for a maximum pressure of 600 PSI. Our standard high-pressure line is built with a stainless steel lining and is designed for a maximum allowable pressure of 6,000 PSI. Monel lined models are also available. The pressure-building vaporizers are designed for a 600 PSI maximum.

Engineering and Design Capabilities

Specialists in high pressure systems, our engineers employ state-of-the-art techniques like CAD systems and finite element analysis (FEA) to develop gas containment equipment and installation designs, all of which are customized to reflect unique customer requirements and specifications. FIBA vaporizers are designed to meet specific seismic zone standards, wind loads and ice loads, ensuring that each vaporizer is suited to hold up in almost any environment.

Vaporizer Automatic Switching Systems

The most popular vaporizer accessory is our inexpensive, Automatic Switching System. The system allows automatic switch-over from a vaporizer that has become inefficient (due to frost build-up) to an alternate frost free vaporizer that is ready for peak performance. By using this, the customer requires fewer vaporizers, thus reducing cost and space requirements. This system features two Worcester Controls cryogenic ball valves (Model C4416PMSE with Series 75 electrical actuator model 1075W). Maximum flows (considering liquid oxygen at 75 PSI inlet) are: 1 valve-21.0 GPM and 1-1/2 valve-53.2 GPM. Also featured is a 10 x 12 NEMA-4 electrical control panel with weather-proof enclosure, one system-ready indicator light, and an adjustable interval timing relay, with a range from minutes to hours. A low temperature switch on the downstream gas side of the system is optional.
