Verizon wireless is the largest U.S wireless Company and largest wireless data provider V Frame Modernization project was implemented in order to provide an upgraded modernized data warehouse and reporting platform for Verizon Wireless. The main aim of this project is to upgrade the Business Intelligence reporting platform from VIADOR to OBIEE and also to upgrade the Oracle database from 10g to 11g in order to provide better reporting platform and performance for the end users.

Responsibilities:

Worked with Business Analyst and analyzed the business requirements for developing the repository and extraction of reports. Analyzed the specifications provided by the client, understanding the business. Install, configure, and administer the OBIEE platform Involved in RPD Development, Oracle BI Administration, Oracle BI Answers, Scheduling IBOTS and BI Publisher Designed Star schema for fact & dimensional tables and created alias for the dimension and fact tables when necessary. The objective of the project is to build an Investment Management Data Mart using Informatica Power Center and also to generate reports based on the data available in the Data Mart.
