Disclosure:
Although the pay scale includes teacher's with zero years of experience, the likely hood of that
occurrence is slim. Here in Rosei Springs School District we prefer teachers with at least 2 years of
experience. Additionally, after ten years the salary of a teacher that only holds a Bachelor's degree is
stagnant. We'd like for all of our teacher to have a Master's degree or above.
School Structure:
There are four schools in Rosei Springs School district. The first is the lower elementary, grades K-2.
The second school is the upper elementary, grades 3-5. The third school is the middle school, grades 6-
8. The fourth and final school is the high school, grades 9-12.

Teacher Shortage:
Here in Rosei Springs we do have a teacher shortage that we are addressing through our teacher
recruitment and incentive program. As we value education and experience we seek out highly qualified
teachers. We look for individuals with teaching experience and a Master's Degree in education or in a
related field.

Teacher Recruitment and Incentive Program:


Rosei Springs School District attends many job fairs all over the country. Our representatives tell
candidates about our beautiful, welcoming, and diverse community. Through our incentive program
teachers will receive a $5,000 signing bonus after teaching for their first year. In order to retain these
new teachers we have also developed a five year bonus where teachers receive an additional $7,000
after their fifth year teaching for $7,500. And our last bonus is received after teaching their tenth year
in the amount of $10,000. The retirement benefits are very generous. After 10 years of teaching we
match all money put into our teachers 401K. After 20 years we match our teachers contributions to
their 401K by 120%. After 30 years we match 150%. After 40 years we match our teacher 200% and
give them a retirement package comparable to 1 ½ years salary.

Rosei Springs
Rosei Springs is a village with in the Town of Babylon on Long Island, NY. We are a small but
thriving community. Here we value the arts and education. We have a newly renovated performance
arts center and theater. Small shops and boutiques line Main Street. We are a modern and progressive
town. Our community is diverse and filled with many ethnicities and languages like: Spanish, Polish,
Russian, Portuguese, Mandarin, and others. Rosei Springs is located 32 miles outside of New York
City. It is a great location for those who like to frequent cities but do not want the hassle of living in
them. Rosei Springs also has public transportation like buses and trains, however, most people own a
vehicle.
