 1. Definition

 Clinic is a small private health

facility that provides health care to
the employees when needed.

company clinic for emergency
health care of its employees
 2. Policy

 All bonafide employees of

iWebmasters.com, Inc can avail of
services of the company clinic when
needed.
3. Guidelines and Procedure

3.1 The clinic is open to all employees for

consultations, first aid treatments and
temporary relief of minor illness through
issuance of over-the-counter medicines.

3.2 The company employs a full time nurse who

reports for work Mondays to Fridays from 3 pm
to 12 pm.

3.3 Emergency health cases during the times the

company nurse is not around will be attended
by any member of the first aid team.
3.4 The clinic provides the following services:

3.4.1 Consultation and treatments

3.4.2 Referrals to specialist and assistance in

availing employees’ health benefits through Medicard.

3.4.3Follow-ups of cases and monitoring of health

status
3.5 Depending upon the findings, an employee
who avails of the services of the clinic for illness
can be:

3.5.1 Given medication and sent back to his

workplace to resume work.

3.5.2 Allowed to stay for some time in the clinic’s

in- patients room for further observation

3.5.3 Advised to go home after the company

nurse has informed and arranged the matter with
the employee’s Immediate Superior.
3.6 The company nurse can send any employee home due to any
of the following:

3.6.1 Running a temperature of 37.8 C and above.

3.6.2 Needing bed-rest.

3.6.3 Suffering from contagious diseases like sore eyes,

measles, chicken pox, etc.

3.6.4 Having symptoms that are unbearable or severe and are

not relieved with initial medication issued.

3.6.5 Medicines and/or equipment for temporary relief are not

available in the clinic.
3.7 The Company nurse is responsible to coordinate with the
concerned department or department head regarding significant
health-illness condition of their direct reports.

3.8 A sick employee can get permission to stay in the clinic’s in-
patients room when needed upon approval from his Immediate
Superior and from Morning / Night Shift Supervisor / Manager.

3.9 Any employee who will be caught sleeping in the clinic

without prior approval will be dealt with accordingly.

3.10 Health services will also be made available during

company sponsored extra-curricular activities.

3.11Records of services, treatments and consultation rendered

in the clinic will be maintained and regularly monitored.
