Introduction The Phenix was created for multitasking operations. The team consists of qualified personnel in aircraft design, gyroplane development and manufacture of new composites. The Phenix is the culmination of several years of research and optimization. The design is focused on the following details: - Full composite construction - Forward mounted engine - Side by side seating - Wide and comfortable cabin - Hydraulic pre-rotator - Big cargo compartment - High inertia rotor blades - Maximum empty weight of 300 kgs. - Ballistic recovery parachute - Meet most demanding certification rules

Gyroplane Phenix The Phenix is constructed from a freestanding body, made entirely of composite laminate carbon fibers reinforced by sandwich panels, frames and high-density compartments. A central tunnel handle main structural loads, wherein are incorporated the anchor points of motor, mast and undercarriage. The composite construction offers great advantages over metal structures. This allows the creation of aerodynamic shapes. Composite laminate carbon fibers are extremely strong and at the same time very light. These structures are more resistant to mechanical stress, they do not rust and its life is unlimited. This construction system simplifies the process and reduces production time. Overhaul, repair and maintenance operations are condensed to the most simple. Our approach lies in the possibility of changing the primary structure to suit all needs. We also offer a wide range of engine power from 100hp to 240hp and rotor blades of different lengths, suitable for each specific task.

We paid special attention to the comfort of the crew. The device is equipped with heating. Windshields are specially treated against Ultra Violet and Infra Red to maintain a good temperature. The luggage compartment is separated from the cockpit with access by two lateral doors, which allows charges up to 25 kilos. 3

Manufacturing The method of manufacture involves the application of several layers of carbon fibers in special molds designed with the shapes of the aircraft, which are then impregnated with resin. Once dried the pieces pass through a hardening process. The last step is a high temperature treatment that allows the laminate to obtain its optimum mechanical properties: compact, light and easy to handle. Then we integrate the rest of the diferent components and elements of the structure, the fuselage is assembled and ready to receive the mechanical parts. The composite structure no require protective treatment. All parts are covered with primer and painted as needed to get a perfect finish. Thanks to our production line, we optimize manufacturing costs, which allow us to offer competitive prices for an aircraft of last generation. Our manufacturing process meets the quality standards of aviation. The carbon fiber, epoxy resin and consumables used are materials approved by the aeronautical authorities. Our suppliers of engines, rotors, propellers, instruments, etc ... are all well known companies qualified in aeronautical.

Concept Our main objective in designing the Phenix, was the creation of a safe gyroplane, stable and easy to fly. This creates an important stabilizing effect on the gyroplane that optimizes flight safety of the plane while maintaining a neutral attitude of the aircraft in all situations. The result is a very safe aircraft, requiring less workload for maintenance. Some positive aspects of a "tractor" configuration: Push and cooling: the propeller receives clean air, which produces more pushed; air naturally circulates around the engine that improves its efficiency. Performance: Short takeoff. Stability: the thrust line of the motor passes directly through the center of gravity, providing a neutral attitude during flight. Maintenance: the engine hood is completely removable leaving the area completely free to inspections and maintenance. We are the first manufacturer in the world to install a ballistic parachute as standard equipment in a gyroplane.

The system consists of a handle located in the cockpit which is related to a container situated in the tail of the aircraft, containing the folded parachute, which is itself connected to a ballistic device that extract the parachute in less than 1 second.

The market The past 10 years, the drones and gyroplane market represented the fastest growing sector of the aerospace industry. Studies by Teal Group, estimate that the global market will double between 2010 and 2020, from 4.4 trillion to 8.7 trillion (R & D and supplying spending). After the United States, Europe would be the second largest market for drones and gyroplane, followed closely by Asia *. The military market has highly developed and is providing the basis for initiating new manufacturer as Phenix planes, particularly in the field of gyroplanes, suitable for civil and mercantile applications *. By 2020, the civilian market will therefore be able to organize and offer strong growth prospects for the sector. The market for non-military applications seems much larger than the defense, especially in the areas of security (civil, police, borders, coastline), monitoring (fires, forests, structures), telecommunications, agriculture and logistics *.

Phenix applications The Phenix is designed to be equipped for any type of mission, reinforced points are integrated into the structure to facilitate installation of monitoring equipment as infra red cameras, search light, radar. The Phenix can operate from unprepared runways, using local roads, rural roads, riverbanks and beaches. Military model The Phenix is an effective plane for low cost military operations. The gyroplane can be deployed in operation or in direct confrontation. A kevlar blindage is on option.
