professional reward. Our vision is to provide the best service and products which
meet our customers diverse needs and intends to be a premier software developer in
East African recognized for its superior business environment, focus on promoting
education and creating a great link for the software within the East African
community to the global market at the lowest prices.
Strengths

 Wide branch network with representation all over East African


 Brand loyalty of its products – our customers very loyal due to quality services
and products we offer.
 We have skilled quality employees; employees are nurtured to be excellent in
their operations through continuous training, attending of staff seminars and
through scrutiny during recruitment and constant appraisal.
 We are able to respond very quickly as we have no red tape, no need for higher
management approval.
 We are able to give really good customer care, as the current small amount of
work means we have plenty of time to devote to customers
 Our lead consultant has strong reputation within the market.
 We can change direction quickly if our approach isn't working.
 We have little overhead, so can offer good value to customers.
 We have effective organizational structure there is the board of directors who
make strategic decisions and review the company goals and objective, then
there is the managing director who oversee the achievement of the set goals.
Weaknesses

 Customer service personnel still need training


 The company does not have an effective organizational culture its employees
are hardly given work leaves, most employees work continually without a
break for leave. This demoralized employees.
 Limited budget has hindered our plan to expand.
 Management cover still insufficient and also with few sales personnel to
market our product.
 The companies have been recently facing stiff competition form larger firms
especially in products like ERPs and provision of ISP this is due to the
competitive prices they offer.
 We have a small staff with a shallow skills base in many areas
 We are vulnerable to vital staff being sick, leaving, etc
 Still new in the market as Our company has no market presence or reputation

 The company has an opportunity of expanding its branch network to other


countries in Southern Africa. This will ensure that the company grabs a large
market, due to its good reputation in East Africa.
 Profit margin promise to rise due massive promotion and advertising
 Government support especially in Kenya where the plan to introduce ICT in
the institution of learning.
 Our business sector is expanding, with many future opportunities for success
 Our local council wants to encourage local businesses with work where
possible
 Our competitors are slow to adapt new technology
 End-user responds with new product.
Threats

 International competition for example Microsoft Corporation who produce


new software constantly.
 Difficulties in retaining major staff who are being poach by other companies.
 Legislations impact which slow down our operations
 Economic growth in East African is still low thus few businesses have ability
to buy our products.
 Fast growing technology leading to competition in the market.
 A small change in focus of a large competitor might wipe out any market
position

venture
 Cost leadership - It’s achieve by reducing firms cost, supplies cost or raise the
cost of competitor.
 Setting standard Price - ensuring that the price is premium since if pricing is
too low the customer will believe it’s of poor quality.
 Innovation- always coming up with new products that result in a basic change
in the way business is conducted in the industry.
 Integration- Forming alliances with other companies offering the same service
and developing tight linkages to customers.
 Differentiations – Distinguish firm product from our competitors by lowering
price of the software we provide compared with our competitors.
 Human Resources- we acknowledges that it’s human resources are the most
important amongst all its resources. If we manage our staff and also recruit the best s
they will in turn deliver quality service.
 Customer Service-. Provide quality service to the customers by developing the best
software that will serve the long term needs of our customer and also faster response
to customer complains and Minimise operational problems that might cause any
delays in installing the systems and ensuring that it’s well documented and
maintained.
