1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First of all, I would like to offer our humble supplements to ALIMIGHTY
MUHAMMAD (Peace Be Upon Him)” who is, forever a torch of guidance and
knowledge for humanity as a whole.
I believe:
Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves or we
know where we find information upon it.
2. DEDICATIONS
Big Bro is today the leading manufacturers and exporters company, and
are successfully running there Third Generation family business with an
exporting history of almost Thirty Five Years. They are situated in the beautiful
city of Sialkot in the north of Pakistan.
In both production units, there are almost 1000 skilled workers and
qualified management personnel. Who have the total ability and the knowledge
of the machinery used for the production. Production of this particular field is very
difficult and hard work is required to make it.

They are using top quality medical grade stainless steel to produce there
high quality products. As we all know that the quality of the material available in
Pakistan is not very high. So, most of the companies use send there own
material mostly from Japan and they are made here in their company.
C: QUALITY ACIEVEMENT:
For global customer satisfaction, they have been accredited for cGMP,
ISO-9001, EN46002 and Etching CE-Mark on there products. They also after
making any equipment get the quality certificate from the surgical institute made
by the Government of Pakistan that is Pakistan Surgical Association. This is to
maintain the total quality management of surgical products. Company is also
the member the Pakistan Surgical Association. That’s why company have to get
the certificate of quality from the association.

Big Bro International aims to provide all its customers outstanding quality
and quantity with genuine and friendliness and professional warmth, surpassed
by none.
STRENGTHS:
Big Bro has high quality, strongly differentiated brands. It has a wide range
of excellent brands, supported by high quality and service standards which
deliver an excellent customer experience and encourage brand preference.
BRAND LOYALTY:
Big Bro extends to all our brands and with over 100 of customers the
largest brand and quality loyalty programmer in the industry. More than half of the
revenues come from customers who use more than one of there brands. There
brand is also very famous internationally. They also use to work in the brand of
the other companies but most of the companies prefer to use company’s brand
and logo.
EXTENSIVE NETWORK OF CUSTOMERS:
Big Bro International Group has a significant network of upper upscale and
upscale of customers under the brands, with assets in key city Lahore attracting
the international business traveler from all over the world. They are also planning
to expand it to the major cities of Pakistan.
GLOBAL SCALE :
The global nature and scale of the business provides it with significant
benefits particularly in the areas of marketing, technology and infrastructure,
enabling them to drive growth and profitability while reducing operating costs.
Due to its large network, organization also has access to considerable funds to
promote and support its brands for the benefit of customers and owners. These
funds, known as System Funds, represent a stable source of funds to support
marketing activities, frequency programs, relationship marketing and system
infrastructure.

WORK OBJECTIVES:
METHODOLOGY:
Big Bro International has different and unique method of work. Whenever
they get any consignment from the customers, they immediately tell there makers
about the production of particular item. They have adopted the policy of
outsourcing. Which I think is the best way of doing business of high quality and
can prepare a bulk consignment in less time. Than those products are collected
in the organization and polished in production department. After that it is given to
the packing department. In the end export department give them the numbers
and order. Than they do the paper work and hand it over to the courier company
TAQ Cargo or Dry port. There major export is in United States of America.
THREATS:
OPPORTUNITIES:
Opportunities for the business are lesser. Big Bro International has to
focus at quality of the products and especially at it’s marketing efforts to survive
for the time being the company can take the advantage from the supply as all the
suppliers are local, so the cost of input will be lesser. The target markets can be
located and reached with cost effective media.
The company has efficient and energetic workforce with the determination
to meet the challenges, which can be considered as strength. There are some of
the weaknesses also that I don’t know exactly that the employs are not satisfied
with their pays. I think that must be increased and bonus system must be
introduces.
Strategic formulation:
The first target of Big Bro International would be cost minimization. This is
the key formula of success in the business.
2-Differntiation:
Big Bro International should try to differentiate its products from the competitors.
3-Focus:
Big Bro International should try to focus at a single segment. A narrow
market is easy to win as compared to a broader market. That’s the reason we’ve
focused a specific class of the society especially as a target market.
C: MARKETING STRATEGY:
Product means there main product, which they are launching in the market to
the customers that is beauty equipment. They are introducing different products
in the surgical like surgical, dental, beauty, etc. Besides they are providing local
quite soon.
Basically our product will be Place at the outlets, which will be directly under
our control to ensure the customers relationship management & also that we are
providing quality products. We are making the product and directly placing it in
the outlet for our customers, eliminating any third party who may be involved
between our product and consumers that might create an image that our product
lacks purity.
They have contacts with the market operators of those specific areas and
advertise through them, also they will use billboards in these areas, and they will
also use the radio & television for advertising etc. in foreign countries.

There basic theme is to explore the unexplored area because they are the
new entrants in the market so they are just at the initial steps of the positioning
that’s why they need to explore each and every opportunity available.
When they talk about further positioning strategies, their main focus will be on

Benefit positioning.

Forecasting:
Big Bro International uses a different and unique strategy to select the
people of some specific and their own stander. First of all they forecast the
required candidate for the specific job and than they pass them n the other
stages.
Recruitment:
After that the candidate is recruited for that specific job. It is ensured that
man whether know how to perform that work or not. It is time taking process but
in the long run it very helping and ultimately leads to the success of the
organization.

In the internship I have learned a lot which I will discuss in the following
topics:

Beside all these points there are others. But I think these are these are the
most important and also required in the outline of the internship. I have tried to in
these basic points other points also which are also satisfy.
A: DUTIES:
There are many duties which I was asked to perform among which I have
discussed in below:
First of all when I entered first day in the organization I was said that go to
the all the workers of the organization and try to create yourself a relationship
with all of the workers. I was introduced myself to all the members of the
organization. When I told them that I am here for the learning purpose they all
regarded me as the student and asked me about my institution. They all
appreciated me.
First duty was given to perform is that I have to write a letter and take out
a print of that. I was given computer to keep on searching the new companies
from different part of the. I have mailed almost more than hundred companies
from different part of the world but during my struggle of six weeks only one
organization replied and that asked for the samples. First I was happy but later
on that company after taking the samples vanished.
Another duty that I performed mostly during my internship was that I have
to write letters. The hard copy was given to me by the marketing manager and I
have put write that on the computer. In the early stages I was not given the big
tasks to perform but later on I was given to prepare the shipments. I use to give
numbers to the cartoons that are to be exported. I use to do all this under the
supervision of export manager. Later in the 5th week I was asked to prepare the
EE Statement which was required by the Bank Alfalah.
B: ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
There are many tasks of which I am capable of accomplishing but I was
not given the opportunity. Most of there administration people were fear of me
that he was hired by the owners to keep an eye on us and tell the owners about
there every work. Most of them not even talked with me. Assistant export
manager became my friend and he use to give me some tasks to accomplish.
This was my first time ever I have worked in the field. Though it was for
the first time I have acquired a lot of knowledge but still a long way to go. I don’t
think so that that I have learned the knowledge up to that mark to which I was
expecting because they did not gave me enough tasks to perform. Even than I
will say that I learned enough and it will definitely going to help me a lot in the
long run.
Now I have realized and came to know the 5 W’s of anything in the
organization. There was so much to learn but as I have told earlier that I was not
given that much of the tasks what I have learned in my institution. I also came to
know the way to have discussion and relationship with the banks.
Before internship I know all the things about the organization but now after
putting my knowledge into the field and practice I have gained a lot and further by
the willing of Allah Almighty when I have my own business it will go to help me a
lot. I would like to thank Big Bro for rendering their knowledge to me.
D: PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED:
Problems are the part of the every job. I think that until and unless
problems do not take place one cannot learn and understand any work, whether
what are the technicalities of the work. I faced many problems during my
internship but I coup with them with dare and confident. Whenever I faced any
problem I was guided and helped by the co-workers.
Very first day I faced the problem when I was said to introduce myself to
everybody. I use to lack some confident but after doing internship I have
developed it and now I can face every problem and situation. During the work I
don’t know how to prepare the documents and shipments. I was taught and told
by the Assistant Export Manager. He was very helping and whenever I faced any
problem he helped me out.
I did not face any special problem in my work once when I asked the
documents that I want attach with the report, Director became angry with me and
said that ”you are here to learn not to take our official documents”. I was annoyed
but later on I never asked for anything from the organization
This internship programs are for the benefit of the student. Besides degree
requirement this internship will help me in different jobs. I can give the reference
of my of six weeks internship. It wills definitely going to benefit me, whatever I
have learned over there. There were many things which I have learned there.
Before that I have only the image of those things in mind but now I have came
know that what those things are in real term.
Now I have gained the confidence which think I was badly lacking. It does
not mean that I don’t have the confidence but by doing the internship I have
gained the lot. Actually one has the abilities and skills but only need is to polish a
person. By working as an intern in Big Bro International one of the biggest and
renowned nationally and internationally I have gained a lot of experience and
definitely it help to develop my career and my future.
In the end I personally would like than Big Bro International that they have
given me the opportunity to work with there organization and a part of it. I also
like to thank Mr. Mahmood A. Bobla for giving the student of 2nd semester the
opportunity to do internship in summer vacation. Above all I thank to Allah
Almighty for bringing this good time on me and my fellows. Shortly speaking I
have gained a lot of experience by working in Big Bro International and it will help
me in developing my career.
