PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Cash Flow Management
• Advise management on expenditures to ensure adherence to budgeted expenses
• Analyze and balance budgets of up to $2 million
• Forecast revenue and expenditures based on current and historical financial data,
recommending changes to budgets as necessary
• Reconcile and manage bank balances for up to 8 accounts
• Prioritize payments to creditors based on current and projected cash flows

Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis


• Reconcile and track up to 40 asset and liability general ledger accounts
• Amortize loans according to loan statements
• Review general ledger transactions for accuracy, making adjustments as needed
• Prepare and analyze month-end accrual reports
• Generate balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and statement of cash flows and
distribute to management

General Accounting/Payroll
Accounting
• Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables to include:
Banking
Check writing
Expense report verification and payment
Confirmation of current per diem rates for government contracting
Customer collections
Payroll
• Manage all aspects of payroll including:
Certified payrolls
Timesheet verification
Garnishments
Section 125 pre-tax deductions
• Update and track employee leave

Contract Administration
• Negotiate terms of contracts of up to $1.1 million with clients
• Track contract hours and dollars to ensure adherence to contract terms

• Coordinate with customers to request contract modifications as needed


• Ensure proper execution of modifications
• Coordinate contract wording with legal department
• Reconcile contract proposal to actual work order to verify that estimates allow for
adequate profit
• Adhere to contract formatting guidelines
• Coordinate and maintain insurance certificates for customers
• Review contracts with government auditors at contract close out
• Update contract files as needed

Tax Preparation
• Prepare and file the following (over 6 tax seasons):
Corporate and individual income tax returns
Payroll, personal property, and sales and use tax returns

Human Resources/Benefits Administration


• Manage healthcare benefits (including COBRA), life and disability insurance and
retirement accounts
• Implement and oversee adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Prepare termination packages and conduct exit interviews
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of personnel files
• Coordinate employee functions, such as holiday parties

Communication
• Conduct correspondence, contract administration, billing and collections for
government and private sectors

TECHNICAL SKILLS

 Proficient in the following computer applications:


Peachtree, QuickBooks, and Solomon
